That's a lot of tits. Anyone ever visit and say - "so, show me your tits, I hear they are legendary."
You know what I discovered only recently? The hummingbird is only found naturally in the Americas. Man, you lot over there are missing out on some magic if you haven't seen a charm (apt name for a group of them) of hummingbirds buzzing around the feeders.

You can't say anything about the birds outside this house without some smart alec bringing in a punchline. I saw a pair of male Great Tits fighting in the street the other day and of course came in and started a sentence with 'I just saw a pair of great tits in the street'. The first assumption was not that I was talking about our feathered friends.
The first time I saw hummingbirds I was in Canada. They blew my mind.

Absolutely no chance of a link. Good grief, no, not when this forum profile has my real name on it.

Should have some decent endurance built up by the time footy season starts up again!
Also, haircut yesterday. Getting a buzzcut for the summer always makes me happy

I don't normally post this sort of stuff but I thought maybe we could all do with something positive:

I love hummingbirds, they are surreal and entertaining and beautiful.
They are also scary as all fnck when you don't know they're there and they rise up out of a bush or flower patch near you like the mother of all murder wasp mosquito hybrids buzzing like a chainsaw armed drone.
Also, when they crash into you while you're biking, it HURTS AND STINGS.

Good point.
Note : The way to prepare for hard times is to form a diverse community of different people. You needs lots of people with all sorts of backgrounds to truly by successful. People are what they world is all about and your going to need a lot of help.
I do know someone with a island ! 7 acres. It’s epic.

Great post. This may be an overabundance of caution, since I can't imagine the inescapable 24/7 coverage of this case involving DV has had a deleterious effect on anyone's psyche, but just on of the off chance, I'll spoiler this word of hope...

Copper pot is restored ! Stats: 12x8 inch.. 16 quarts (30 cmx20cm) 21 pounds empty or (9.7 kg or full load would weigh 16/23 kg)
All fixed up: fun! (I had it professionally done , though I do restore tools ad cast iron stuff ! Ya a eBay pick)
107–133 years old. So much stuff can be just fixed up and reused, it’s fun to do. ( I did the handle )

Electrocuting my abs for four hours twice a week (adjusted down from every day) and doing a bit of simple lifting seems to be sufficient---walked down to an outdoor music festival (in the heat) with my P100 mask on and sun hoodie (mostly) unzipped in the shade, and got oogled by a decent number of attractive women. Monkeypox is in Philadelphia now, but risk of getting it is almost certainly very low and I'm optimistic that its low contagiousness and any significant changes in how this strain spreads will have been confirmed within a few weeks. Worst case scenario I'll see about getting the small pox vaccine (once it's confirmed that it's effective against this strain).
Better way to kill flies without a flyswatter randomly popped into my brain---tested it on some flies that got into my apartment (I keep all my cups covered so no flies get in, but it's still annoying---especially when I'm trying to watch a video at night and there's a fly on the screen). Tested it successfully: hold a paper towel or napkin taut (even worked with toilet paper), then once the fly has settled on a surface, bring the paper towel down quickly---when it tries to fly away it will get caught and pressed against the surface, and the paper towel can then be crumpled around them without them escaping. Actually I'd suppose I might be able to use this method to catch flies without killing them---maybe give them to the spiders then as a 'thank you for your service'? Or I could try depositing them outside. Maybe put in a sealed container, carry them far away, and release them... for some melodious frogs to leap and lick out of the air?...
But above all now this is making me happy: 'Study shows progress for using time crystals in quantum computing
