Liverpool and Roma through. Would love to see Sevilla and Juve come through tonight but I think Juve over turning Real is very unlikely

Ok I have tried to begin the conversation twice now and broke off both times before I could get a single syllable out. *standing there with basically a pointing finger with my mouth open. On the verge of laughing

Good starting point might be to find out which of his friends first told him about this. And then from there you can ask him what he learned so far.
Then fill in the blanks

My significant other had a bulldog that had a neurological issue that crippled its back legs. We could literally spot it a two minute head start and catch it up within fifteen seconds.

I liked her, but I was so angry at the breeders who created her and left her and others with so many problems beyond the legs.

I'm glad this one can run and be a dog the way dogs like to be. Even if a bit mischievous.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I dried laundry outdoors today for the first time this year. I love that smell.

Small things.

I'm jealous, it freaking snowed here today.

On the bright side, I get to see all the "global warming, huh" posts.

Well I'm jealous that it snowed. Last 2 nights were so nice though! 44F is blissful as I sit out burning my stumps looking at Jupiter, Saturn and Mars without taking a bath in mosquito repellent.

It's 38C down here and I am melting!

It's more a making me laugh than happy.... some background first!

I work in an office full of middle-aged women. Pretty much their entire conversational repertoire is Slimming World. That's it.

Work friend and I joked once that Slimming World must be The Borg, and everyone is assimilated and RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

Nearly fell over laughing this morning because I came down to my door to find a Slimming World leaflet having been pushed through it.

THE BORG HAVE FOUND ME! Posted Image

And now there is nothing for it except to consult that age old wisdom..... What would Captain Picard do?

My local Slimming World rep puts a flyer through my door every year on 1st January. I hate her. They really are The Borg, they got my neighbours!
