My son recently hacked away at his hair with an electric razor. He has some very visible bald spots. He also drew on his face with a permanent marker, giving himself a monobrow.
We went to the shops for some quick groceries and the looks some people gave him (and me) were hilarious! 😂

I've heard nothing but HIGH praise from everyone I know who have seen it. The one person said the only way it could be better, would be if it were narrated by the dulcet tones of Werner Herzog. I am very excited to see it.

It would appear i'm recovering from the cold now. Which is good, because the past 3 days at work have been low-energy nightmare.
Also, my indoor team won our second game in a row last night. After a disatrous 1 in 7 record in the first half of the season, we're now 3 for 9. My goal (since i'm nominally "the captain" this time) is to now beat each team the second time w play them. So far, 2 hard fought, hard-earned comeback victories.

Had a talk with the boss. Now I know what kind of raise i'm getting.
Nothing super-crazy, but still, allows me to plan stuff better, which is good in light of the possible real estate purchases.

Absolutely loving jiu-jitsu. I only get to go once or twice a week, but it's so much fun. It reminds me of all the things I liked about wrestling without the stress and pressure that made it hard to bear sometimes. I'm terrible at it, but that's ok. I'm getting better. The gym I go to doesn't allow live sparring until you have learned the absolute basics, so that's my only goal at this point.
Also, I am now down 86 pounds since July, which is a loss of 24% of my starting body weight. I'm hoping to hit 100 pounds down by the end of the year, which is very doable.

Awesome work RLY, that seriously impressive loss, and it sounds and seems like you're losing the weight in a healthy manner too, not some crazy crash diet

Caught up with Luci, Shiara, Silencer and Centz in the city today. Much chocolate was had. The boy climbed over Shiara a lot which along with all the shameless showing off wore him out. He was out cold before we were in the car 10 minutes going home. Thanks for that.

There's a place near me that opened recently. You buy a 2L bottle and have it filled with your chosen kind of beer. When you drink it you return for a refill of whichever one you want. It's really awesome, cheaper than buying bottles, and I feel strangely environmental.

I always thought that I would bemoan reaching the stage where Matador and I were comfortable with wearing matching clothing.
Turns out I was wrong since I just bought these matching faux-leather jackets because of course I did!

For the first time ever, after being stuck with 23 for ever, the Wiki has reached number
22
in the chart of all of the book Wikis on Wikia!!!!!
http://www.wikia.com...hPhrase=malazan
I am certain that the blame for that has to be squarely put at ArchieVist's feet who has added about 150 new pages in something like a week
The Harry Potter Wikis had better watch out - we are on their heels (well, almost) *grin*

My 3 year old found one of my toy lightsabers, turned it on and said, "Daddy, there's an airplane in your sword".
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

I think motherly "me time" is meant to involve a spa, shopping or haircut. Mine is a kebab and a movie. Ahhhhhhh. If only I didn't have to drive I could have got boozed up too.

Enjoy!
Mine usually involves playing Mass Effect or Dragon Age.

My prints have arrived. Proper quality, too. The ones they sent me first were on shitty paper. Too much stress for my liking but now all's good. Shall post pics later if I remember.
