Mrs. QT fully pulled the wool over my eyes and surprised me. There is a party on the weekend for all my friends for my Bday, but last night was just Mrs. QT taking me to the Keg for steak...and when I got there all my friends were at the restaurant. Surprised the CRAP out of me. Went red, got a bit misty. It's a nice feelin' and I did NOT see it coming.

Did something similar for my stepdad. My mum told him to get dressed were going out later then periodically bus loads of people just turned up at the house for a big house party.

She had to tell him we were going out later otherwise hed have been sat in his boxers on the couch :(

My dehumidifier arrived today! WOO HOO. Now I'm doing a huge pile of laundry just to put it through its paces. It's going to be an exciting weekend!

Taps, they may well have crossed the channel but our buildings are all old and we're not putting any new ones up to damp proof. Plus there must be some official stat saying we have more rainy days than anywhere else in the universe.
