This thread is making me happy. It forces you to find brightsides and I love brightsides.

For instance, 'I'm going to be homeless in two days :p ' becomes 'I'm going to be staying with Shiara and Luci!!! :p '

Plus, you can't be too upset when you know you are catching up with friends to watch zombie-awesomeness (The Walking Dead) and grrm tv (Game of Thrones). I mean, Norman Reedus and Sean Bean! Two massive brightsides right there! :p

Last night (after getting PISS drunk with some friends) I was heading the ~4 blocks to my apartment when some big black dude stopped me. Put his hand to my chest and demanded my money. And I had this very surreal moment, thinking to myself "Is this guy actually mugging me?"

Anyhow, he was, and he knocked me on my ass once I said he should go fuck himself.

I got back up (mind you, I'm pretty hammered here) and hit him with a shoryuken-style uppercut (he was a good 5 inches taller than me, I sure as hell wasn't going to connect with a right-cross) and ran like hell, and spent the next half-hour laughing uncontrollably for how retarded that situation was.

For the record, I'm not sure I've ever been that capably drunk before...

Have found temporary homes for my kitty cats and turtles. Have furniture being moved into storage tomorrow and have a place to stay whilst looking for a house. At present, things are going well/smoothly. :p
