Had an awesome night out with some great, and more importantly hot, girls and I'm waiting to check exam results which admittedly is where this could all come crashing down.

The reinstatement of my sweet, sweet rep. Also a mysterious and baffling name change in the middle of the night...
EDIT: I think my post count was higher than that, by the way. Not to worry, though, it doesn't matter.

The love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain.

Went on to Amazon this morning to find out where the hell my copy of TCG was. My lovely wife had pre-ordered it for me ages ago as a christmas present. The conversation went something like this...,
Me " There's no record of any pre -order or anything resembling an order..... WTF ! "
Mrs Masan " There should be, I definitely remember doing it. "
Me " Are you sure ? "
Mrs Masan " Yes. "
Me (after deconstructing the entire webpage/site) " Are you sure ? "
Mrs Masan " .....I think so. "
Me " That's not very reassuring."
Mrs Masan " I ordered you the 2 books you asked for ! "
Me " 2 books......, I asked for 3 (blood pressure rising) books, you said you were going to get 3 ! I had the other 2 before christmas, this was the only one I gave a shit about ! You did'nt get it did you ? "
Mrs Masan "....ermmmm.."
Me " WOMAN !?! "
Mrs Masan " No."
Me " YOU ABSOLUTE TURBO SPAZ ! (etc etc) "
Why is this in the happy thread I hear you ask ?
2 reasons really, for one I was'nt that bothered as I just took a leisurely drive to the nearest Waterstones and plucked a nice shiny copy of the TCG off the enormous pile in the foyer. Two, I milked my disappointment to the max and the missus is feeling bad about it, resulting in a rather epic fillet steak/ bottled lager based dinner this evening.
I should feel some sort of guilt/ shame, I don't.
Am I a bad person ?

So you used that major cock-up to guilt your wife into making you a nice dinner? Why didn't you just use it to get super-fantastic "I'm so sorry"-sex?!
Also: Had some nice cake. Made a perdy dress which I'm going to wear for a birthday party next weekend:)

Went to a friend's 18th, which was quite fun. However, I also had a heart-to-heart with the girl I like, and apparently her feelings havent changed. She still doesnt want to commit unless she was absolutely sure about me, and she isn't. It was pretty disappointing, but I think it means we can move on. I don't want to have some sort of stigma attached that prevents me from committing to anyone else, and the situation isnt likely to fix itself, so that seems to be the right thing to do. Not feeling terribly happy about it now-feeling low as hell to be honest-but I think I'll be better for it in the long run.
