Amber Heard on Top Gear. Charming young lady. Also, the awesome dinner I provided. Un prophète, great movie.
On the down side, the fact that there's a shitload of dishes to be done, and I have pains in my chest I could do without.

Went to a friend's 18th, which was quite fun. However, I also had a heart-to-heart with the girl I like, and apparently her feelings havent changed. She still doesnt want to commit unless she was absolutely sure about me, and she isn't. It was pretty disappointing, but I think it means we can move on. I don't want to have some sort of stigma attached that prevents me from committing to anyone else, and the situation isnt likely to fix itself, so that seems to be the right thing to do. Not feeling terribly happy about it now-feeling low as hell to be honest-but I think I'll be better for it in the long run. :)

I somehow managed to make it the whole day without hearing one single Oscar spoiler. This never happens. Also, James Franco is awesome.

I enjoyed it very much, although I get the feeling I should probably have finished ROTCG first...but learning more about Stormriders and Crimson Guard was awesome:)

Not quite all that much about Stormriders in that book, sadly. Not nearly enough.

Stop visualizing it in your head as a "one night stand" or a "relationship". There's stigmas and concepts that are attached to both that make it seem like hooking up is bad, when in actuality, just about everybody does it and enjoys the process/results.

I don't think that in this day and age there's actually many one time hook-ups. It's too easy to stay in contact with the other person and have things happen again. In fact, a ton of the long-term relationships I've seen through college and the times afterwards were hook-ups that stuck around. Things just developed from that "shunned" beginning.

Just focus on having a good time and being confident. The rest will take care of itself as long as you're open to the opportunities that come up. Kiss whoever you find attractive if you can.
