On to my Nook, using one of my gift cards from Christmas so it was at no cost to me personally. So I got tCG for free, hell yeah!

Ha Ha Ireland winning the cricket. I do enjoy when the underdog comes out on top...unless it is not against S.A.

Briar King: What the hell is up with you, and your woman? Half the time your bragging about getting some, and the other half you're bitching about divorces and nagging and shit...I has a goddam curious!

Making me happy: Today is Friday and there will be cake! (I know this seems arbitrary since I've been complaining about my weight, but dammit I eat only Ryvita bread for breakfast and lunch the rest of the week, so on Friday's I'm allowed to have cake. It's the only thing that gets me through a week of eating cardboard:P )

Gonna leave work soon for the weekend. Either TCG will be at my place and I'll bust into that, or in case it still isn't I'll be going to see The Adjustment Bureau.

A good night planned either way.

Also, steak and bacons.

Couldn't take it anymore and bought the trade The Crippled God before having the hardback refunded. It was just sitting there on the shelf, mocking me. Driving me crazy with curiosity.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
