Having just watched the Neon Genesis Evangelion remakes.

Was not really impressed with the originals, despite huge success in Japan as well as internationally. But the remake movies are pretty epic.

Not a huge anime fan, but I enjoyed.

A job, Puck has a job, yay!
Well, it's probation time in November, but it's a job and I hope I can get through, which in turn will mean that I can pay my studying fees and stay at college :killingme:

Congratulations Puck, considering the worries you were having with Uni this is excellent news. :killingme:

You didn't end up robbing a bank then ?
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

What makes me happy right now? Today I bought a new pair of shoes, converse all-stars. They're black but have a small white dot (that people won't notice) so the store gave me a nice big discount.

Yeah, saving money makes me happy
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Thanks :) Yeah, I hope I'll get through the probation time, the job is related to marketing, which in turn is related to what I study.

Nah, I figured I'd keep that option as the last straw :)

At a guess, someone is enjoying a LotR marathon. :killingme:

Do not come between the Nazgul and his prey.

Well now, this has been a sufficiently nerdy Saturday night. 13 beers, 2 pizzas, 3 LotR movies, 2 mates and surprisingly a girl I've never met before (and a cute one at that) asleep on my couch. Any girl willing to have a LotR marathon is just instantly awesome in my book. She even did a Galadriel impression asking for the Burger Rings. So sad awesome.

Its 4:25AM, and I just stayed up to finish what has got to be my favorite show ever now.
Last couple episodes are a tad melancholic, but just... so... happy...

had a meeting with my phd supervisors today, and it was all very nice and positive. thank f#ck for that. i was so worried going in to it that i could barely sleep.

now i can actually relax, which means i'll get much more work done since i'm feeling happy and can concentrate on my work.

a bit nervous about a dive i'm doing tomorrow, but if that goes well too, then i'll be happy as a pig in sh1t. fingers crossed.
