Yesterday, I've gotten my hands on a discography of a records studio from the 90's that used to take Ukrainian folk songs and re-arrange them to a techno/dance beat.

Thus, for the last two days i've been in mostly great mood. Because the ridiculousness of teh concept, combined with the nostalgia is just too much to stay in a bad mood.

On top, the bureaucratic issues i've had with my application to volunteer for a pro bono legal clinic have been resolved. Soon, I shall commence working there as well.
I find it awesome to be busy, cuz then you have 0 time to waste or feel bad.

thus, live is amazing. once again, for the umptieth time since beginning of September, I love being back in school.

Watched Glee just do a surprisingly kickass version of Billy Joel's Only the Good Die Young. Suitably impressed.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Good on you Ray!

If only the Pack weren't trailing da Bears. (The flippin Bears for the love of God).
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I (finally) finished my science essay due tomorrow...

And I found out I don't have school next Thursday...

EDIT: And, on top of that, I got post #3333 on this thread...

I hope you and your boyfriend loved it. :)

I'm happy today because of the EKO (early knock off).

Never short of quips, are you?

In happy news, it's just been nice lately. Exchanged a few messages with my friend on Facebook who's in England, and it was just great to chat again. Then, today at drama, it was just cool hanging out with the friends I have there. Oh, and that girl who I asked to the social who declined and was avoiding me? She likes me again. Oh, and Theatre Studies at school is awesome-it's just a great place for creativity and teamwork.

Life is pretty good, I think. So far so good.

It's our language and we'll do what we want with it. If that includes incompetently stealing words from other languages so be it. ;)
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Considering that Denmark is currently borrowing half the English vocabulary I will accept that.
