House vacuumed, mopped, wiped down, and just in time for a Tues date.

Setting up a date with a nerdy chemical engineer who has a cosplay photo of herself as Storm. Pure awesome so far. Fingers crossed she has personality to match.

A personality to match Storm? Better hope it's not the movie version!

I bought an enormous crate of my favourite soft drink from the only distributor in the UK (it's a German concoction) and got it shipped to the office this morning. It arrived safe, everyone in the office finds it horrible, so it's all mine.

Stumbled across a clothes sale and found a whole bunch of new shirts at basically 30% the cost!

Flipping YES! I am going to Germany with my best friend and his wife in December! I haven't seen them in months as we live at opposite ends of the country and he is turning 40 so to celebrate we're all hitting the Christmas markets in Munich!

In other news I have found a gin I actually quite like!

Full regard ago

We had a fucking fruitloop of a day at work a d so went out for a few beers, watched the game.
Bad game
Heading home and a few homes were trying to chat me up, one of the lads was trying to use my limited French to his advantage.
I was lovely it life and my limited language helping life
When something came into my head.

Hold on

Attractive French girls
Want to use me as a translator
This twigs no alarms.
I definitely have a girlfriend.
And it doesn't bother me.
This makes me happy
I'm genuinely in love with this girl.

Sorry morgoth

Still on cloud 9 (which, given the post in the groove thread is a grey lined silver cloud...). This girl is amazing.

Slightly tipsy, in front of an artificial fire pit, and most importantly, not a fire pit at my place... :D

Babes in the woods who keep walking into trees.
Yesterday I had a 15 minute convo with my close to 70 year-old aunt about how to like pictures on Instagram because she swore up and down that she had liked a photo that I'd posted on Friday night, but I didn't see it. So after asking her about ten times "are you sure you're looking at the icons right under the photo I posted?" and her saying "yes, of course I am, but every time I tap the heart it sends me to a list of people I might want to follow!" it turns out that she wasn't actually in the right place...she had been using the icons at the very bottom of the screen instead. This happens every time there's an app that she's unsure how to use; when she first joined FB about 2 years ago she would literally call me just to ask questions about how to use it.

So anyway, if we do get some good karma by helping old people figure out electronics / phones / apps, I might have gotten a nice helping yesterday. :D

So 2017 is back on track! Kicked cancers ass and got a job right after getting the PhD. Im now a medical research scientist working on Ebola. The lab is the only biosafety 4 lab on the continent and I should get some training to use it soon. Should be good on the CV.

Also my puppy loves me!

Little devastating to learn that Morgoth may be off the market though!

Please, Cause, I beg you...as prestigious as it may seem, quit your job working on Ebola and join the side that is working to eradicate Ebola.

Working in a level 4 lab gets you closer than most to accidentally causing a viral apocalypse. Congrats all round even so, Cause!
