My wife won an iPad Air in a raffle at work she didn't remember entering. It just showed up at her office. Nice.

The great unfattening continues. Down 26 pounds from the 13th of last month. Fitting into older clothes already, blood sugars have looked good.

Bought my Mum a new fridge for her birthday.

Loki's suggestion in the other thread paid off - literally. I called my credit union, explained the situation and they said it was quite common and they'd check it. ATM must have sucked my $50 back in because I checked my account this morning and I'd had $50 re-credited to it.

I honesty didn't know which thread to put this in, but I guess I am happier about this than sad so this thread works.

My works head office (which is where I am based) is moving from Sydney to Melbourne. They are offering full relocations and incentive payments to all staff, but it is still quite the shake up and was a crazy day. But I get to move to a new city and get some extra cash and work opportunities, so huzzah.

:p

Shitty, shitty weather and it's the national capital for hipsters and other assorted pretentious twats.

But at least they're taking you with them rather than give you a redundancy payout. Means they want to keep you.

As a pom who had been to both Sydney and Melbourne, I could say that's a hell of a deal.
Love Melbourne me.

Got me a couple of days in Norfolk, could have done with some Italian weather though!!

There are plenty of pretentious twats here in Sydney too. They are offering redundancies to anyone who doesn't want to go (they are taking everyone).

But on another good note for work, I have gotten awesome feedback and a significant raise on its way, as well as extra responsibility, so going rather well

Congrats Centz! Good that they're paying, for sure.

Any particular reason why the company wants to spend so much money on a move, though?

Plenty of good reasons, but since I don't want to give away my employer here I can chat about them on another medium  Working in HR makes on averse to advertising who their employer is on social internets of any sort.

A strangely happy melancholic limbo with a date arranged for tomorrow, listening to City and Colour's Day Old Hate and Little Hell, and chatting with a couple of others on Bumble.

Bowling Wed, and 3rd date on Thurs. Ramping up.
