There are plenty of pretentious twats here in Sydney too. They are offering redundancies to anyone who doesn't want to go (they are taking everyone).

But on another good note for work, I have gotten awesome feedback and a significant raise on its way, as well as extra responsibility, so going rather well :cry:

Got my uniform shirt from falconry yesterday - I'm on the squad!

also flew one of their red tailed hawks for the first time to customers - I'm still flying under supervision and doing plenty incorrectly, but I'm learning every time and each time I come away with something new. The red tail was beautiful as well - so happy I decided to try this! :cry:

Okay, at first I thought you were talking about flight school and you were in some kind of air show.

Then I realized you were talking about actual falcons, which made me imagine humans riding on falcons.

This has led to me wondering why we don't have breeding programs trying to breed the largest bird possible so that we could ride it like a Giant Eagle. It would be glorious.

I mean I realize this would probably lead to some kind of bird apocalypse but I think the risk would be worth it.
