Might have to listen to Kaleo.
Sounds more like a hipster diet. Kale is the Devil's Vegetable, btw. :pJust had a 90 minute massage. Knots everywhere, especially in the mid-lower back. Feeling soooooo much better now.

What's wrong with Kale! It's going into my curry tomorrow night.

Some time back I had an unfortunate experience with Kale. It tried to kill me. A rogue leaf of it became lodged between my respiratory and my digestive tract and tried to choke me. Now I know what a cat feels like after they hock up a hairball. :p

Satan's Vegetable!

I am not sure it was Satan wanting to kill you.

This is the fella that was inside!

Spoiler

I freaked the fuck out when I walked into my living room and a pigeon was there, not sure how I'd feel about snakes lol

Then again it's wings that really freak me out, so I'd probably be alright. Wildlife is eminently boring here in the UK, well certainly in London at any rate, loooooot of Foxes!

True, it could have been some sort of suicide triffid.

EDIT: aaaaaaaaaand a quick google of 'suicide triffid' reveals this little floral charmer, also from Queensland.

Two of my best friends - whom I haven't seen very often since they went to uni - just got married today, couldn't be happier for them. Not generally a fan of big Christian ceremonies, but watching their relationship blossom since I first met them has been a joy and it was a very fitting culmination today, genuinely buzzing. I'll be off to the reception/party in a little while to celebrate and wish them all the best. Hopefully I'll be able to see them more often now that they've moved back into London as well

Wish me luck. Here early. Have a table where she wants it (outside), water, etc. Gods, behind the times by 10 years. Here'she hoping I survive...

Fuck, my post mortem got deleted....

Goddamn phone posting.

So, as I said before, love you guys and thanks.

Date went well (1.5 hours normal?). She was a pretty girl, calm, smart, good conversation. Awesome taste in music and even loves Dexter. Beautifully toned, loved her eyes and hair, though partial facial paralysis and bad dentition was a minus.

Essentially, it boiled down to world travel for me. Not into it. I like road trips, I desparately need to get back to England but I am more of a homebody, dreaming of fall with rain and warm fires with hot cocoa and a good book. She likes sun and gets reverse altitude sickness. And has no kids, so that is a degree of freedom I cannot match.

Kind of sad bout it (she was really pretty, not knock your socks off, but easy on the eyes). And it was nice to have good conversation and new music tastes to complement my own. But no chemistry, no emotional imperative to keep this going.

This is a hard road, isn't it. I think I have a ways to go.

Partial facial paralysis (left face was drooping, not fully moveable) with poor dentition (bad teeth).

Sorry been in medicine and describing autopsies too long...

Actually, that's a great dip-your-toes back in result. Not a match, but a solidly enjoyable time, and a good night out. it helps show you that you can just go out and have a great time, even if you don't end up together, you've gotten yourself back into the dating scene.

Yep, that's a good result. I dunno how you're going to break it to the lady that pursuing this isn't what you want, but do it gently and don't mention any flaws of hers. Pin it all on yourself if need be.
