I've read three Amber books in the last two days during my commute. I've read three books in the last month. I was struggling so much with not finding anything to read but when you're on a bus with nothing to do, you'll read anything.

Went to the gym today and figured I'd test where I'm at atm. And contrary to what I had feared I do not have to start over from scratch. Sure, I'm not where I used to be, but especially with cardio I surprised myself, even though I did not push myself particularly so as not to overdo it. Two thirds of what I used to do after doing zilch for almost a year and a half is good enough for me for now

Unfortunately this was real life, not FB. I hardly log in to FB anymore. It makes me grind my teeth and dentists are expensive

I don't mind throwing the odd opinion on there every now and again if I have something to say, but 80% of my feed is political posturing at the moment (I'm in the UK, we just had a change in leader of the opposition) - and at least 50% of them are seemingly not currently in possession of the family brain cell.

Of the other 20%, 19% is currently rugby and I am the lonely 1% sitting in a corner going "Um, it's not political or sporting, but I bought a damn fine book on the War of the Roses today?"

Bought Lancaster and York by Alison Weir on recommendation. Also recently read The Hollow Crown by Dan Jones - I highly recommend that one. He is however so fond of the phrase "hacked to death" to describe someone expiring that it's become a bit of a running joke in our house!
