Just got back after a lovely week in Cornwall.
I have to say, to any Cornish malazites, you've got quite the county there. Pretty awesome.
Managed to get a lot of dramatic coastal scenery in, most of it natural and free!
The sheer abundance of beaches astounded me, it must be a dream during the summer months.
We had about 14-16 C all week so pretty good for this time of year.
Even manged to squeeze the Cheedar Gorge in on our way home, where I manged to get a Gluten Free Cream Tea. A true rarity.
Some drive back to Newcastle by the way.
500 miles in a day is a lot to us Limeys.
Glad to be back though, nothing like coming home.
Also
Clotted cream. That shit is dangerous.

My new place down is Sydney is pretty much set up now and is starting to feel like home, it is nice to have a home again (been living with my brother for 8 weeks and Luci and Shiki for a week before that)

Glad things are going well though.
Happy today because it's Sunday and I'm not at work. I've actually got a whole weekend off, someone must slipped up somewhere while writing the demoralising rota, it's not managed to achieve its maximum disruption to family life.

Although I appreciate it's much easier to be off gluten now than it was even five years ago, it would be nice to go out and get a gluten free treat with my mug of tea that isn't a chocolate brownie occasionally (because seemingly that's all anywhere does!)

Yeah the Ol' Costa brownie. Been there my friend.
It's getting better for eating GF these days, but a lot of the time it's just those posh, swanky Deli shops where the staff are so far up there own arse, I refuse to give them any of my money.
I tend to just google the local area whenever I'm going somewhere, see what's on offer.
That's genrellay worked for me in the past.
However, with kids like mine, I tend not to eat out and so I can easily satisfy my Gf needs at home.
Tesco have a lot of stuff in for us GF freaks, like onion rings fishcakes and chocolate sponge cake.
I can personally attest to the quality of the latter, especially with clotted cream custard (and clotted cream).

Out of the hospital, finally.
Had my nasal septum straightened (ie broken/cut and sewn back together) and a polyp removed. Now I'm looking forward to over 2 weeks of medical leave Still waiting to see the effects of the operation itself as my nose is still slowly filling up with blood, but that will pass.
Avoid hospitals if you can.
