Ah, see, reality exploding would be right up my alley. Problem solved.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Heh. I think it's a good idea. Puns are good. Snark is good. Wit is good. Sarcasm is good. The occasional "cram it" is good.

I would immediately introduce Martial Law. Or is it Marshall? Anyway, my friend Marshall Law from college. He's into scifi/fantasy and is a real cut-up. You guys would love him.

I protest and will stand around with a placard for no reason other than I want to stand around and protest with a placard.

I've started the NHS's Couch to 5k thing, and did my first run yesterday. Could skip a week straight away which was a nice surprise.

Just googled it and found the NHS website. I take it that it's a fitness regimen intended to get couch potatoes to be able to run 5 kms? But is it only available as a podcast? A cursory inspection didn't show any pdfs with a nicely laid-out schedule or anything like that, except for the 12 week weight loss guide. Which I dare say you don't need.

Huh, originally wrote that as "wight loss", so I don't know if I was thinking of the island, or the undead.

Wights should be lost at every opportunity as well!
Couch to 5k - the guide as to the intervals for each week is there. It's a fitness thing for me - and as I've never really done any running I thought it best to start with something with planned out increases and see how I go from there. That and we moved out into the countryside in October when we bought our house - it's a good way to get to see lots of it on a regular basis.
You're right though, judging on how problemless the first couple of weeks intervals were for me, I would guess it's aimed at people with excess weight to move as well as fitness to gain!

I've moved onto "Bakkake 3: Not In The Eyes" today, and ordered the two existing books of Aspect-Emperor to boot. Hopefully he'll have finished Inchoroi Time by the time I'm done with them (got six Eddings books to get through after Bakkake 3).

If it's this Marshall Law, I have to wonder if that mask chafes.

With all the rage-invoking shenanigans of UK politics, it does make me smile to realise that I live in a country where one can actually vote for one of the following: the Class Party, the Monster Raving Loony Party, and the Cannabis is Safer Than Alcohol Party.

There was a pirate party candidate in East Manchester. Also I think there was some really random ones in South Thanet (Nigel Farage's constituency). Can't remember what they were though.

My brother was feeling really down because it's his 25th bday and the first since our mum died.
He said he really missed the crappy birthday cakes she used to make.

The lime curd I just made is darn near perfect, if I do say so myself. Putting it in a tart for a dinner party tomorrow at Casa del McLovin.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Thought you had a brother named Arsel for a second there, then I got it. Awesome!
