I know someone who had this done bc her crooked nose was really giving her a tough time breathing. She LOVES the result. Could not stop talking about how awesome it was to nose breathe and see it straight for several months.

I hope you end up in a similar situation.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

My friend had the same thing done a month ago. She's had nothing but infections since. :S
Though, for the first week she did keep commenting on how cold air felt when she breathed through her nose.

Air feels normal I guess. I still have stitches in my left nostrils so that blocks stuff considerably and picks up blood and maybe some phlegm too. When I got up today my nose was full. Worst part - can't blow my nose 'cause the stiches could break.

Got my followup meeting on the 27th, maybe they'll remove stitches then. In the moments my nose is clear, though, breathing feels a lot easier, true enough.

Finally did something useful in my professional life that has had a big impact on a section of UK public health. It's a small section but still useful! Can't talk about it, even in this dimly lit corner of the internet but it feels awesome to have directly done something that will mean some people live longer and in better health. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy (and slightly self important :headbang:).

No, but in seriousness her job title is something unfathomable but involves setting up and negotiating NHS-paid care programmes for people of diminished mental capacity (i.e. learning difficulties, dementia etc). Handles Dorset for the moment.

Well, talking of diminished mental capacity....

I was totally on cloud nine last night because I had at last managed to add a properly working poll to the Wiki homepage, only to have CN point out to me earlier that I had missed out one of the books. Ooophs!!

I am pleading diminished responsibility, posting having been way past my bedtime which, unbeknown to me, had a temporary diminishing effect on my mental capacity. So there, lol.

Anyway, I am still totally over the moon about the changes I made and keep checking in to see if anyone has voted. Unfortunately, editing the poll meant that the votes already cast were lost. Nothing is ever straight forward, is it?!

But... :headbang: :p :) <---- I am still this happy!!!

Other half is playing The Wild Hunt at the moment, and all I keep hearing in my head is the Zero Punctuation quote on the first one "Geralt is a sort of demon hunter for hire, not as you might reasonably assume a witch hunter". Looks awesome though!
