Summer time at its height here is 102F. No clue what that is in C.

I guess yall would fry here.

About 40°C I think. Unthinkable temperature.

Unthinkable? We had that last year, 4 days in a row, and two days of 41C.

When my father was posted to Jodhpur in Rajasthan, 45 was a regular feature in the summer

Christ, thinking about anything higher than 17C puts me in a sweat.

We had about a week of low 20's last year and we found it unbearable. I'm Scottish I wasn't built for sun, ffs i get burnt standing under a 60W lightbuld lol.

I have a cold. An excellent excuse to make a chilli based stew! Habaneros, regular reds, bullets, cayenne, jalapeno, bird's eye. Ginger and lime, and some meat.

I will cleanse myself of this poison!

I worked in Fresno, California for a while. It got to 102° on occasion. I practically melted. I am a big hairy bloke born in the North in winter! Not a bronzed and beautiful Californian who likes the sun!

The weather has finally turned with the temperature dropping below 20' degrees of an evening. I think I was almost cold this morning.

I was born for colder weather. Living in Queensland is the worst. But with the current temperature drop it means I have managed three nights in a row of good, quality sleep. :)

Seconded. And that droid is just insane.

Having my weekends back is turning out to be rather sweet, now the weather is changing. And I'm looking forward to my week in sunny Cornwall a week hence.
Fine times.
I'm tempted to buy KOTOR on my laptop for my week away now! Should go down well with the misses.

Asked my toddler if he would like some popcorn.

Now he is running around the house shouting 'Porn! Porn!' excitedly.

Gorgeous spring. Got a haircut first thing in the morning. Gonna spend a large portion of the day riding on my bike, doing errands, catching early tan.

It's a bloody good job you didn't come today, we got biblical rain now.

Making me happy is 200cc mode in mariokart 8. It's lethal.

Had a dream - rather, nightmare - last night where worry had suddenly become a mod and could do as he pleased in the book forums. Making me happy is that it turned out to be just a dream...

Why would worry be a bad mod?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Ignoring the implication that nightmare gives, why would worry not being a mod make you happy?

It was a joke, silly. It's the Inn. The implication is that there would be so much worry-style irreverence going on, reality would implode. And I like reality where it is, as it happens.

It's not exactly a secret that I'm a huge fan of worry. So you're either intentionally interpreting too much into my joke or you're intentionally interpreting too much into my joke.
