After several months of forcing myself to work out 4-5 times a week I now have a visible sixpack again. It's weird how great that makes me feel. Now all I need to do is to retain this for as long as I am able, and with the amount of beer I drink that means I'll have to keep up the work out schedule for... the rest of my life I guess.

I have my dog in agility classes to build up her confidence. After spending a month terrified of everything, she now does jumps like a boss. Still will not approach that tunnel though...LOL.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

I made that ditch my bitch with my flamethrower!

Not sure if I should read this literally or figuratively...?

What Gnaw said. Now I wish I would have put this in the groove thread cause both my arms are soar as hell now. I was low on propane so I couldn't crank the flame up as high and thus had to bend and extend my arms this burning round. That thing gets heavy after an hour.

Uh, why were you igniting a ditch? Is this part of the anti-fire ant campaign?

Working out is like brushing your teeth. It's a hygiene issue.

I signed up for more classes at a local school..I could be going for my Masters, but have Zero interest in this as I have done a class here and there to gauge--The last thing our world needs is another MBA.

So I'm signing up for classes in my Hobby instead... which really has zero career relevance/advancement to me....just for fun. I figure posting it is good way to hold myself accountable...

Welding 1
Basic Machinist Process
Blueprint Reading for Machinists
And
Metal Shaping

and next:

Arc Welding
Advanced Machining Process
Milling 1
Lathe 1

Maybe--Maybe: CNC stuff after..the point is to learn this skill-set--by hand.

I have always felt like the day you stop learning is the day your dead. I have been trying to learn via youtube/books, but keep hitting roadblock's in what I can accomplish myself and actually absorb...making mistakes/etc. Tell you if I stick to it!!

The manual stuff is tough. I can give very limited help there. The CNC stuff and machining theory however I am pretty proficient in as I work in a machine shop :) Let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Welding is an attractive skill to possess.

It's right up there with ice harvesting and logging.

I know logging has some prospects.

That was kind of strange. Is this for real?
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

My brother's birthday was yesterday, and it was quite the party, especially because he just learned that he does not in fact have cancer.

So, lot's of alcohol, excellent mood all around. Late into the evening I got a message from a girl I know asking whether I'm out, so, being drunk I basically respond with an invitation to my place. I'm quite explicit as to what I'm suggesting. The response I get in return is overwhelmingly positive. And also very explicit. Thus an excellent night developed into something quite astonishing.

Being single is weird, but it does have its moments.

LOL @ this dude who looks like Ben Affleck that robbed a bank in my home town...
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

Fifth run this year and I am surprised how much better my time is than when i started late last year. I have shaved 2:40 min off my time from my first run. My legs/shins do not hurt like hell anymore too which was the worst part when I started.
No Touchy.

If you read that in the tone of a lecherous Spaniard it's marginally more entertaining.
