This is a huge pdf report of a study into what sorts of marking would be appropriate for a nuclear waste disposal site that would be effective for the thousands of years of life in the radioactive materials stored there. The parts that have loaded for me are fascinating.

Yay, we got the ok for a new apartment, and the one we liked most, too :) And it's almost a third cheaper than the current one, and close to mom's workplace :D

Just came back from an interview - help for handicapped at an airport - and the folks looked happy enough. Wouldn't mind this job at all!

So South Africa's little version of a games expo is happening this weekend. I wasnt relly going to go but i just found out that Dendi is going :)

This week's weigh-in: I am now 3 months post-partum and have returned to my pre-pregnant weight!

Now, a few caveats. The weight is distributed a bit differently. My lower abdomen is a bit softer than I would like it, what with the skin being looser, so although I fit into most of my old clothes that I have tried, there's a little bit of muffin top going on. And, of course, like every woman everywhere, my baseline weight was about 5 lbs over what I wanted it to be. So that means from here on in, I'm going to be working on that "last 5 lbs" that I've been working on since forever. Still, I think it's time to pat myself on the back for a job well done as I unpack all my pre-baby clothes and then use that good feeling to keep pushing towards my goal weight.

Its Friday. Yes. And tonight I get to go see Fuzz in Philly. Tickets cost me 12 bux. ITs raining like crazy but I don't give a shit. I'm gonna drink beer, take huge bong hits and go get my brain melted. I earned it, especially after I received a ton of email criticism on an interview I did with with Sister Helen Prejean (Susan Sarandon played her in Dead Man Walking). Our state has a bill held up in judicial committee that will abolish the death penalty, and she came here to support giving it a vote. I covered it and lets just say that many people were not happy with our "unbalanced" coverage of the issue. Which was bullshit.

Anyway, yeah, brainey meltz is goodness. I be happy.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished.
