Hmm. I appear to be flavour of the month at work again. Overtime: inbound! And being the only person specifically asked to undertake important new duties because I'm "responsible", (other people please apply because you're mostly for show, kthx) is somewhere between gratifying and depressing. XD
Oh, yeah, and who you gonna' call when the most competent person on the weekend team is away? Oh, me? The person who used to be that guy before he dropped weekends because you asked him to change his hours in order to fill a gap? Naturally.
Alright, alright, I'm overplaying it a bit, but that's more or less the atmosphere regards me at work at the moment. They've been trying to avoid relying on me for a while, but apparently it hasn't worked out too well.

Hi Abyss, It's Dolmen.
Can I just take a moment to talk about your ridiculous Avatar? Ok? well...
Abyss that cat looks ridiculous. Utterly Ridiculous...Just peculiar and wrong on levels 9 through 12. Good God man.
Ok. now that I've got that out of my system, carry on.

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

That's not a combination of things I'd have ever expected to read on this forum. You're like a long lost Bole brother.
May you sleep well with your catch and release shenanigans.

Spent the afternoon hitting (or attempting to hit) people with foam swords. Surprising entertaining (and tiring!).

did you have one of those wonderful masks that give you a cheetah motif underneath after you take a shot to the face?

HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

I had a really, really nice break away from work and DIYing yesterday, which I spent reading and doing nothing, insofar as the kitten allowed it.
