I prefer "selective" quoting.

I didnt get anything wrong, or change anything, in the first post I just selected a certain part of your quote, so get it right, all though I cant expect much more of a drunken Beerite.

What i've done above is misquoting. And true besides.

Misquoting and taking things out of context is tantamount to lying!

If you want to know who is WIN, count the votes! ;)

Just because I dont tell people every side of the story it isnt lying, its just, leaving things out.

Besides beer is only winning because this is a fantasy forum of a book where inordinate amounts of time are spent in bars, but no one ever buys a bacon sandwhich.

Were we to replace all the bars with butchers/other bacon selling outlets i am sure the vote would be otherwise.

LoL! I guess you're not all bad, Grief...For a Baconite!

Apart from the first paragraph, I cannot fault your logic. Grief is WIN (For now...) ;)

I think we need a bacon vs. beer mafia, to see who wins. Let this be settled once and for all. I already have ideas for roles etc. I shall post them. This must be settled in a way more comprehensive than a mere poll. Vindictive killing for example.

I don't mind bacon on a burger or with breakfast but it's certainly nothing that excites me. I could live my whole life without eating another piece of bacon.

Beer is where it's at. I love it.

Hahahah.
Thats the thing, because of all the beer, you'll be far to incapacitated to do anything about the tauntings of us bacon-barons.

So you see, yet again, bacon wins.

I fart in your general direction.

See. Theres another reason bacon wins.

All the drunken beer-voters couldnt aim a rock to save their collective life.

Therefore we can get you, but you cant get us.

You know, bacon wins again.

We'll take a break, just for you ;)

What happens when you run out of beer at a party? You get more beer and carry on.

What happens when you run out of bacon at a party? Who the hell cares, drink more beer!

You have obviously never seen drunken brawls before.

Drunks do not feel pain the way sober people feel it.

Plus, I've noticed that a drunk person can have a completely irrational furious strength. And, I've got excellent drunken coordination. ;)
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

meh
Beer has got nothing on liquor
I may be biased, as I am Eastern European (and we love our pork), but beer does not provide nearly enough intoxication to my organism. I consume it when I'm already hammeredand don't notice the taste, and only as a thirst-quencher.

Well, I'm a vodka drinker. But, enough beer will get anybody hammered. True, it might cost a lot at a bar, but that's why I pre-game!

The point about drunks not feeling pain as such stands though.
