Only a week left, and we have 26 players, looks to be a really good league this year.

Hedge - don't worry too much, I just made a load more transfers :)

So have I. If we end up with the same team that'll mean i'll have to share first place with someone else!!

My team is like a dusty carpet...never been beaten!

Hello, I've joined the league, if that's alright, and don't worry, I'm not there to just make up the numbers. After coming second in my friends' leagues the last two seasons I come with pedigree - the pedigree of an also-ran. Sigh. But this time! This time!!!

So im gone for 2 weeks, handsomafying myself up in sunny Mallorca with tother half and kids and we have 27 players and steveandthewife trying to rogue it up in here!!

But still, im not a possesive chap so come one come all. And as im in Shagalouf i guess thats apt.

Shagalouf with the kids and misses you say? Well yes. Its the only thing we could afford and Bogna, Butlins was shit last year.

So as i try and type on this spanish keyboard without writing "thhhe thhe thhee thhhe thhhe thhhe Chris Waddle" id like to say thank you all for joining and if we reach 30 team members, then Brood with streak naked for all our amusement.

:)
"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

I think the winner should have to streak if there is a majority vote at the end. That would add some spice to the competition (and potentially stop Mez from winning).

I've completely changed my team again and i'm still not happy with it.

Will Tottenham be any good, have Aston Villa got a decent defence now, will Robbie Keane even play? I need answers!!!

All you crazy kids with your 'trying to pick a team to win' attitudes make me laugh, pick a gimick, select your team based on that ( I once fielded a team made up entirely of players I thought might be gay) and stick with it.

Unless someone gets seriously injured one should stick with your team throughout the season, changing is for pansies who have no conviction and shows you are geek with too much time on your hands.

Pre-season doesn't matter.

Last seaon I tried something like that in another F.L. I had one team of all English players, one team of all white players, and one team of all black players. They were all shit.

That's because you were being punished by the football gods for picking teams along racial/xenophobic lines, for my part my teams of all left footers (thats literally not catholics)fatties,[admitedly dubious] homos and well endowed players have always performed reasonably well. Baldies might not do too well since my side is quite poor.

Ok. My team might be changed into a team of people who have missed penalties in big matches. Will that work?

Shame Southgate isn't still playing eh...

I'm screwed anyway. I've got a load of fairly decent defenders, but two spurs players. TWO!!! *sobs*

That's two too many. On paper my team looks alright, but it always does at the start, and then it turns out shit.
