Still got 6 players to play today, including 2 United defensive players against Newcastle, including my captain. A sudden spring up the table shall commence. Ahahaha!!

Is there a list of who is managing which team? I don't know all of your bloody real names so I can't tell who the hell "Rob Kerr" is, etc. I was sure there was a list somewhere, but the one at the top of the page only has the registered ones.

I'm Spartacus! And CultofHandsome.
The head-to-head idea is gold, I'm really impressed by it. It's especially good for those who enter as individuals rather than through a group like us.
Today should be interesting, 6 players and my captain are left. A good win with a clean sheet from Chelsea should catapult me up the table.

Clearly I was inspired friday night, transferring a chelsea defender in for a pompey one! James got booked too, lucky people who have him...

"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

Not sure where I am (i.e am too lazy to check) but that Agbonlahor hattrick has GOT to help.

Thanks Ballack for playing all of 35 minutes in that rout. Damn injuries.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Toby, I think you may be 1 or 2. You and Sapper Grumble are the only ones above me last time I browsed through everyone's team. EDIT: Toby you are 1st, with IH 2nd. And you never had your captain playing
You are silly, if you had agbonlahor as your captain instead you'd be on 82 points (about 1000th/1.2 million)
We'll just have to wait for the update.
EDIT: 3rd in our league, 2nd in head-to-head; the leader scored 81 points today

So, I dropped from 15th to 27th. Awesome. My team sucks. Major revamping on the way. Oh by the way Everton: F*ck Off!

In everyone's defence, I wasnt playing last year and therefore none of you are used to dealing with such mighty prowess, and the shame that being so humiliatingly defeated entails.

And in Hoosier's defence, he's american, and therefore doing well not to be bottom.

Lol. What a lovely backhanded compliment!
I need to revamp the team. Ballack's injury could either open up some big points for me to bring in other players.
By the way, is Lampard still at Chelski? Are there any plans for him to still move to Italy? His 'supposed' absence was one reason I picked up Ballack hoping he would take over that attacking midfielder role.

Lampard has signed a new five year contract, meaning he has absolutely no plans to go to Italy. Although I'd choose Deco if I were you.
I consider second place, if Toby is first, to be as good as first, however I'm still hoping to sneak the win whilst Toby is beating Brood behind the sofa. The combovers are no pushovers, well done skeptical Cougar.

Lumplard's just signed a new 5 year deal, so he'll be at Chelski til the end now.
I missed my last minute transfers too this week, leaving in the injured Fabregas and the Olympics-occupied Song, so I should have got even more points! Still, there's always next week. I have good transfers in mind for next week depending on injuries and Olympic progress, so we'll see.
EDIT: Damn, Scotty beat me to it! But yeah, Deco looks like a must for this season.

Gracias. I guess I should expect to be beat. You guys beating me in fantasy (American) football would be just as likely as me winning this, so I can understand why I'm a massive underdog. I'll be happy to finish outside the relegation zone.

From 2nd from last to second, how on earth did that happen? Thank god for agbonlahor who scored more than half of my points!

I sense the beginnings of a truly awe-inspiring title defence...
Flying Monkeys definitely win.
