Endest speaks with Rake at the very beginning of the book about what is going down on Assail (the Tyrants versus the Imass) and Rake asks him if he needs to go there, as far as I remember. So it sounds like maybe the Jaghut versus FA thing could be there as well, or maybe on Jacuruku?

in DG we see gothos in the deadhouse on malaz isle, he can move throughout all the azath. in fact he takes the azath to where they need to go once the Elders done building it.

Just wanted to post this as I just started a re-read of MT, and this thing had me shaking my head in awe:

Feather witch casting tiles:

"But the tread of time is itself a prison.......and the Ice Hold rises, with its attendant servants who journey through the realms to war against time. Walker, Huntress, Shaper, Bearer, Child and Seed. And upon the Throne of Ice sits Death......."

We have seen Huntress, wonder if we'll see the rest of them.

Well, We've also seen death :p interesting, then, that Iccy, a Jhag, one of their descendants, is so damn obsessed with time.

I reckon the FA versus Jaghut might be on Assail. It'd be a nice thing to have the T'lan Imass turn up on the wrong side of the continent, and get surrounded by like a million Jaghut. :p

Seeing how we haven't even seen enough live Jaghut characters to fill all slots that will be hard. Also, what does for exemple Walker, Shaper and Bearer represents? they are rather vague..

Perhaps:
* Aramala as Walker. She does show some adventerous spirit.
* Cynnigig as Shaper. He could be Shaper of Magic.
* Pannion as Bearer. He's bearing the burden of guilt for his past actions and bearing the responiblity of keeping Burn's poisioning in check.

Seed is part of the Casting made by Kuru Qan early MT. In that casting it probably represents Rhulad's sword. The Casting as a whole is actually interesting as it show a very rough outline for the storyline, for both MT and RG.

First there is a blank(Chaos) -> Seed( the begining of Rhulad's/CG's rise) -> White Crow (Silchas Ruins appearance and involment) -> Betrayer(Udinaas or maybe Clip leading up to..) -> Gate (the gate to Starvald Demelain)-> Barrow. (the finish with an Azath rising).

I'd consider Gothos as Shaper, more. He shapes events and aids the Azath.

I omitted Gothos since he seems to be working for/with the Azath. It wouldn't suprise me if Gothos is Guest of the Azath Hold.

Ah, perhaps. That would make sense, I suppose, But Gothos does do things outside the Azath, his Ice Ritual was one such thing.

I think Hood is Walker. He was called the Death Wanderer.

You wouldnt think the Lord of Death occupies the position of Death? He might have been Walker before he ascended to the position of King of High House Death, but surely he would be King of the Ice Hold in Lether now, a position we saw he once held in RG?

I always read it that Gothos wandered the world, with no ties to the Azath, doing various things; sealing off Lether, defeating Raest, hooking up with Icarium's mom etc. etc. Then he got bored with everything, packed up his things and wandered into the Azath.

Maybe, although I think the Ice Throne tile symbolises the Ruler of the Ice Hold, which was/is/will become Hood.

I'd say he hooked up with Iccy's mom IN the Azath. Lot of speculation she was Kilmandaros, if so, then its obvious he can travel between Azaths and could have sheboinged her whenever.

Iccy's mom are supposed to have been a Toblakai. Isn't Kilmandaros the Forkul Assil's god and physically a larger version of the FA, the "prototype" if you will for the FA race?

She could be both FA and TTT, to be honest. The FA don't strike me as bulky or large. She would be TTT physically but her mind-set and style if fighting are FA all the way.

For all we know Killy IS Burn. She's preoccupied(asleep?!) Seems to personify the earth and judgement, and is Elder...

I find it hard to believe that Rake would be able to defeat Burn or would try. Something he did with Killy.Heck, Killy jumped Rake yet he still managed to defeat her and stuff her in an Azath.

Burn aint all powerful. And Rake has the blood of both Tiam and MD in his veins, two of the most powerful Gods in the series. from what we've been told. He took Dragnipur off Draconus. That meant beating Draconus without getting scratched. Seriously. Woah. Draconus made the damn sword, and had been using it for centuries. Thousands had died trying to take it from him. I think its safe to assume even Silchas didn't have the balls to try. Rake's skill is singular.
