I bet there's a whole thing about not being able to find a good cup of tea!

As I understand it they are not in the US long, they have come to get Ted and he goes back to England to train a womens soccer team this time? I think anyways. Either way, I'm excited. I wasn't expecting a new season, but I'll most certainly take it.

Hmmmm ... colour me sceptical on this one. I think they ended it just right before. Due to the content and the unique time period it was lightning in a bottle.
I don't want it to be like something that was "OK" but sort of overstayed it's welcome.

That's not to say I don't trust the writers, but as we well know, creative standards can tend to become somewhat ... malleable ... when someone backs a truckload of cash up your driveway.

I'd like to hope that Bill Lawrence has learned his lesson from Scrubs s.9 but even that was against his wishes, with the network pushing for it.

Apple seem a little less like this - they always had the plan to tell the story in 3 seasons with potential for more if needed. So it's not just "hey here's money, do comedy" this is a bit more thought out.

I think there's less chance of this with a show with such a small episode count person season as LASSO. I could have watched 4 more seasons just about those characters easy...contrast with the old 23-24episode per season model it wears out its welcome much sooner.
