This is ALF we're talking about?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Alf kills and eats cats
Alien kills evil humans (or more succintly: humans)
Alf is evil monster
Alien is avenging angel of outer space
But how many facehuggers could fit over Alf's face?
The image of Alf's belly bursting open with myriad tiers of fanged mouths does please me...

“You said shit.”
“So! You said fuck!”
Yeah sorry not sorry that gets annoying on a week to week basis. Like I said binge/full drop would help with that. I considered doing so around ep 3 but decided against it as it would be a pain in the ass to avoid spoilers till ep 8.
Ep 5 alone maybe worth a rewatch in future when going back through A1-3. It was great but that crew just screamed “I wanna die!” being idiots at all the wrong times.

Yeah cause they are still kids in adult bodies. And kids would say that. It's played for laughs on that premise. And that was one scene...
But hey man, you do you. I just think it's weird to complain about the concept the show is deliberately playing with.

It's in French, but could be interesting:

Binged Alien: Earth. Seems they changed the design of the xenomorph---particularly the face---in a way that somehow makes it less appealing and less frightening. Granted, I did know in advance that it was just a man in a suit, not CGI (or AI!). Didn't find it "scary" at all.
Aside from that, it was much better than I was expecting. Pretty good. And much more variety than I was expecting---there are a lot of major plot elements that go beyond the usual xenomorph universe mythos.

To be fair, even xenomorph takes on traits of the host (which is why the one in Alien 3 has dog traits), so they will always be slightly different.

I watched Adolescence, all four episodes in one sitting. What an astonishing, heartbreaking piece of storytelling. It deserves all the accolades it got and more. Stephen Graham is fantastic in everything he does, but this is a masterpiece.

Apparently it's gonna be six HALF-HOUR episodes. Now they're talking my language!

For a novella? That's almost Hobbit movies-level padding.
Unless they're doing the other novellas as well.

Ah, there you go then. I read them all individually as they came out in short story collections. I even have the graphic novels of the first two.
The trailer seemed to cover just The Hedge Knight though afaik, probably what threw me. I guess they didn't want to spoil the whole thing, which is unusual in and of itself these days.
Probably should get a copy of the whole thing I guess.
