Sweet baby jesus. I've got a double bill finale left. Need to find the perfect moment to watch it. It keeps making me want to cry.

Yeah.... I'd buy some more tissues before the two-parter. That was how my other half was first introduced to the concept that "Hannah has some quite strong feelings about Star Trek". He coped admirably Posted Image

huh, His Dark Materials season 2 begins tonight. Was almost unaware of that. I wasn't as enamored by s1 like a good majority of you lot were, but I will probably binge s2 eventually, or at least give s2 a couple of episodes watch before I bounce out of it for good, unless it gets better. Anyone going back in for seconds?

Watched the first few episodes of How To with John Wilson.

Something familiar was coming through strong in this show and then I realized what it was when I seen Nathan Fielder is the executive producer when the credits rolled. If you've ever watched Nathan For You then you know what I'm talking about. How To with John Wilson is every bit as quirky and oddball as Nathan for You was.

The third episode about memory brought to my awareness something called the Mandela Effect. It's a weird show. Probably will not be wildly viewed by members of this board, or in general for that matter, it's just too strange and probably not for everybody, but what I've watched I've enjoyed, as entertainment. The episode about scaffolding may have pushed it a bit when they showed a quick clip from a gay bondage porn titled "Two Boys Full of Cum and Tied to a Scaffolding." So yeah, if you do give it a try, know that it has strong adult content at times.

Anyone watched Queen's Gambit? It's superb. Some dodgy moments with pacing early on but ultimately very well worth it.

I've only watched the 1st ep so far but I liked it and intend to get back to it. I've heard great things about it.

Fringe gets better and better and then it gets terrible and finally depressing.

As far as I remember you should watch season 1-3 and enjoy the craziness. Then stop. Don't even watch the promos for season 4-5 and mistakingly think they'll be good.

Started Primal coz of that excitable pair going on about it before. Two eps in, not bad not bad.

Oh, if you only knew what you're in for. Damn I wish I could do a mind wipe and start Primal over from the beginning.

Oh god. I cried. Not sure I liked the ending but it was very Picard.

Another "holy fuck, what did I just watch" recco - Lovecraft Country.

You guys really should give it a go. There is so much discussion to have about this program, a lot of it probably uncomfortable. Lovecraft Country will, for sure, have you thinking about each episode long after the credits have rolled.

Very, very late to the party, but I've binged all of Avatar: The Last Airbender this last week.

What a gorgeous series. Tells the story elegantly in three seasons, no bloat, and a satisfying strong ending. THAT is how you do fantasy storytelling.

I've been meaning to read the book before watching the show.

Such a classic. And now you need to watch KORRA, which is also SO good!

It's on my list :) I only have one streaming service on the go at once, so when Discovery finishes I'll probably knock Netflix off and pick Amazon Prime up again to watch Korra :D

What a comfort this is in this year of 2020. So many found memories from back in the day.

Crazy Adam at 35:00 is gold. Nintendo Switch-Blade is too damn perfect.

I wonder in what form and where the reboot of G4 will come together.
