Going to likely unlock my free trial of Dis+ tomorrow so I can binge Mando and get into my thread finally.

Thought you'd been super quiet on this, get in there!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Anyone watching Witcher?

It's next up on my list and tonight I actually have a date with my wife for the first time in who knows how long so we'll most likely start it tomorrow.

Oh my god YES!!! They have X-men the animated series up on Dis+! I didn’t know it had 5 seasons and I was fairly sure I watched them all when new in the 90’s.

I’m gonna tear that shit back up!!

I was surprised how psyched I was about this.
Some of it hasn't aged well, but the bigger stories are pretty solid.

What about X-MEN Evolution, do they have that?
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

I just finished Jack Ryan season 2.
I liked it, definitely quality television, but I don't think it was as good as the first season. It certainly didn't have me on the edge of the seat.

The stakes, while very high, weren't quite as high as in the first season, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. A problem need not be a threat to the president or something or other.

I'm definitely looking forward to season 3.

Tomorrow I think I'll start on The Expanse season 4.

Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Looks like it. 4 seasons up.

All the X Men stuff just dropped on Friday. The only thing on there before that was the 90s series. But yeah now all the movies too and the other tv series.

I am DEFINITELY Going to rewatch evolution.

Same, that series was surprisingly good.

...and then of course we have Wolverine and the Xmen, which was the opposite of that.

Wow. I love that show and this seems very off for them. Usually the more insane stories are lies or they're insane in a different way. Shame that the other people on the show laughed about it...

Ah yiss! Chop this up on a mirror, transfer to a spoon, put flame underneath to melt it down to a liquid, transfer that liquid to a syringe, and shoot that concentrated goodness directly into my carotid arteries. So pumped for this!

I think everyone has got creepy smiling weirdo James Holzhauer taking it, but don't sleep on Ken Jennings, I think people forget how dominant he was. I'm placing my bets on him. I will concede I think Holzhauer is quicker/better with the answer button and his 'all in' gambler strategy could pay off large.

Sweet! The second half of the final season of Power starts up again Sunday night!

If someone asked me to succinctly describe this final season, I would say it's basically if Game of Thrones and Scarface got together and fucked. Power would be the illegitimate child from that one night stand. It's been that craycray!

Watched His Dark Materials.

I enjoyed it overall, but I am not as enamored by it as some here are. Not knowing anything about the source material (have not read the books) or watched the movie based on it, I think, for me anyway, the barrier to entry is noticeable. There's a lot that I didn't understand early on, and still don't understand. The first episode even begins with a 'cliff notes' like screen text about the world and what daemons are. There's a lot of questions I have, for sure, but maybe that is the point? Also, the first season ended on a powerful cliff hanger, it was so cliff hangery that the cliff itself was all like 'whaaaaaaa?!' Due to impatient sensibilities, caused by social media/insta-g short attention spans, I suspect there was hate for that. But yeah, I liked it well enough and will probably be on board for a season 2. There were some serious emotional and harrowing moments. The books are for kids, yeah? If so, that is some dark material for young minds to process<<<< see what I did there. Posted ImagePosted Image

Started watching DC Titans and I'm loving it. Firstly I never realised quite how violent it is haha so that was a shock but I'm definitely in. I think the new season is here too so it's a good time to start.

New season JUST dropped onto Netflix last night, so we will be watching soon.

Yeah, it's a surprisingly great show. You have to let go of any preconceived notions of who and what the Teen Titans are traditionally (as this is way darker and grimmer than any take on them thus far), but once you get down with it. SOLID.

My only issue is that they shoot it in my city...so when they show me Wayne Manor (which is the 'Better Living Centre' down by the lake) and then Dick pulls out onto the road which is three streets up, then turns a corner onto a street that is about 8 blocks north of there....I get a little taken out of it. LOL...but luckily they hide that fact more often than not.

S1 has a solid end credits scene you need to watch. Be aware.

Every season of Fargo has been exemplary and required television viewing, so of course I'm excited for the new season.
