If it helps, the general consensus is that D&D2 was a lot better. I haven't a clue, as I'm not silly enough to watch it, but that's what I hear.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

the general consensus can suck my *****, i believe i actually made a thread about what watching that film was like.

In both cases, the directors/screenwriters/producers, deserve to be beaten.

then drowned.

revived.

and beaten again.
meh. Link was dead :(

While overall crap, I can't consider D&D1 the absolute worse movie ever for two reasons:

1. the whole gold dragons vs red dragons scene in the finale was passably cool; and,
2. I laugh myself silly at even the thought of Jeremy Irons in blue lipstick - nothing that brings me that level of amusement can utterly fail.

BROKEN FLOWERS was unforgiveably boring fail. ALEXANDER was bisexual fail (how the fuck do you ruin a movie that has battle elephants in it???). SPIDERMAN 3 was a whole other level of fail - in any action movie, especially one based on a comic, the second any lead character cries, FAIL - stop crying, Hollywood. Stop fucking crying. No crying. No more. We will rise up and raze you to the CGI animated ground if you keep crying.

- Abyss, boo frakking hoo.

I don't watch manymovies in theatres (not a movie-going person).
But I'll throw in this movie I saw on tv once

CUBE 2

OH
MY
FUCKING
GOD

it was... I don't have the words to describe how terrible that movie was. seriously. You watch, and you hope that it will get good, but it DOESN'T!!! and then it just ends...

Oh, and I've also made it a point to never see "Titanic". working well so far.

Make sure you see the third one - "Cube Zero" (its a prequel). You'll like Cube 2 a lot more afterwards. :D

Wasn't Cube 2 called Hypercube or something?

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

3. The Chronicles of Riddick with Vin shit eating Diesel in it. In fact anything with Vin Diesel in it is just fucked (besides Saving Private Ryan)

2. Daredevil is a close second with the winner (or loser) beiing

1. Super Mario Bros.

ughh.. I really doubt I'll bother
I may have appreciated that movie were I high. As it stood, it hurt my brain a lot and it's another point against the human race.

Oh, and towards what somebody else said--I enjoyed 'Johny Mnemonic". I found the concept kinda cool. and the "razor-sharp energy thread of death" was an awesome weapon in the opening scenes.

I love Johnny Mnemonice. It's just oldschool sci-fi action. People in weird clothes and make-up, yakuzu killing people, Keanu Reeves playing Keanu Reeves... DOLPH MOTHERFUCKING LUNDGREN as a cyborg killer priest, I mean, what's not to like?

Johnny Mnemonic - to you freaks who like this movie, go away, read the original short story (It's by William Gibson and it's in the collection Burning Chrome) and then come back and tell me you still like it, okay?

And while you're at it, read the story New Rose Hotel and then see the abortion of a film that was made of it...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. ugh...I should have elected both of those for worst ever. THe first cube movie was fncking awesome and one of the coolest movies I've ever seen. Hypercube was basically a shitty rehash of the same movie but with "better technology" and some more CGI. LAME. Cube zero was some kind of aborted attempt to show Cube behind the scenes or some stupid thing, made no sense and had some of the shittiest (and yes, shitty on the scale of low-budget sci-fi flicks) acting I've ever seen.

I 100% wouldn't bother with the other two if you've watched the first one. One of the things that makes CUBE so awesome at the end is that there IS NO REASON FOR ANY OF IT. It's the underlying theme of the entire fracking first movie and then they had to go and ruin it with a retarded sequel and an even more retarded prequel.

I have to agree with the Monkey - Jonny Moronic was a pitiful film made from brilliant source material.

- Abyss, notes however, that if the falling car had actually crushed Keanu, it would have been the best movie ever.

In fairness, the book is fairly kick-ass, and it has to get props for baddies called "Necros"

The movie and books were based on an RPG he plays with his friends. He accomplished a good many geeks dream of making a high budget movie out of their campaign. Essentialy it was like the DnD movie but with a specific game setting.
