Hey, it was horrible.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Mr. Brooks was baaaaad, even for a Costner movie. And when is Hollywood going to learn that DANE COOK IS NOT FUNNY.

Wow... I actually loved the Mr. Brooks movie...that it was awesome... liked it as much as I like the Dexter series...

Next (Nic cage) that movie was not as good as I had hoped...

I'll go ahead and add almost every Nicolas Cage movie to this list....I hate him.

Which brings me back to another terrible flick, GHOST RIDER *pukes*

That's the sod! *rep*

What a pile of utter toss that was.

I have to also agree with the Signs nomination.

"Hmm, we're mortally allergic to water, so let's go invade that planet over there that's over 70% water! Yeah, that makes sense!"

Clever enough to master interstellar travel, not clever enough to spot that one. Way to go, guys.

And anything with Richard fucking Gere is intrinsically terrible.

Worst ending to a film has got to be the Gere/Willis Day of the Jackal version.
Brilliant film, until

A film that ticks all the boxes yet left me questioning my desire to continue living (that my friends and the rest of the cinema was blubbing and jabbering about how epically awesome it was made me question if the human race was in fact intellegent enough to survive) Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the winner (read loser):
Titanic

This movie was bad on so many levels, the only enjoyable moment (not even the end was enjoyable because I had infact turned into a carrot and so missed the ending) I "I'll never let go jack" ~rips jacks hand off the piano~ "bye!"

also in the terrible category:
"Comedy"
Date movie, Meet the Spartans (i quit after 30 mins), Zoolander
"Fantasy/ historially sort of epics"
Eragon, The Last Legion
"Action"
Judge Dredd, Collateral Damage
"Classic"
Gone with the wind, Pride and Prejudice (any version)

ETA - whoever knocked anchorman, go back and watch it 2 more times. then bask in the war glowing feeling

I have the misfortune (and bad judgement) to have found myself in the position of paying actual pounds sterling to see both Batman and Robin (so bad it's horrible) and Speed 2: Cruise Control on the big screen. I may never forgive myself.
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. The girlfriend and her sister had a movie afternoon yesterday. Among those watched were coincidentally my submissions for this thread

-Sisterhood of the travelling pants
-Sisterhood of the traveling pants II
-Blue Crush (A terrible flic, but exacerbated by the presence of Michelle Rodriguez in the cast)

I disagree with Macros on the "Zoolander" nomination. Zoolander was brilliant.

My nominations:

Sci-Fi:
-War of the Worlds Remake with Tom Cruise. Even the kickass tripods could not save this film.
-Alien 3

Comedy:
-Any romantic comedy in which the romance is the main plot point.
-Any movies made by the "Scary Movie" people after "Scary Movie I".

Horror:
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Original), this movie was so bloody boring the only thing that kept the three of us awake while watching it was that stupid girl screeming non-stop. I do not understand how this was considered horror or even good.

Drama / Classics:
-That weird old movie during the war set on some pacific island, similar underpinings to "The Sound of Music" except I don't think it was musical.

Random:
-"Saved", the original plot had such potential... Too bad it got bogged down. Though Mandy Moore pulled of a convincing bitch.

Agree very much with War of the Worlds. Jesus christ that was bad. Too much 12yr old screaming, not enough WARRING OF THE FUCKING WORLDS. Pedobear might have been excited but I was in deep REM sleep.

LOL...I did that play in highschool. It's called South Pacific. It was a musical and my only lead role ever. I can't hate it for the nostalgia, but agree that it's a totally dumb movie.

Lets see. I have never been able to watch all of the following movies:

Titanic
King Arthur (the newest one)
Any DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS movie, although I love the tabletop game. One had the Wayans brothers in it!
Battlfield: Earth

Oh, and most chick flicks, but I'm not the target audience so I don't know if they count. I only put Titanic up there because it won a crapload of awards and was just so fucking *gag*.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

I want to say KING KONG, but the T-rex scene narrowly made those three lost hours of my life not a complete waste. So i nominate...

MERCURY RISING.
Here is Bruce Willis. Here is a screaming autistic kid. Here is Abyss clawing his own eyes out and stuffing popcorn into his ears to make it stop.

Of the many movies mentioned above, at least i could semi-suffer thru most of them. This.... this was just... evil... in a bad way.

- Abyss, still getting the butter-like-product out of his brainz...

I is charming ;)

Speaking of bruce willis, I caught part of 'Hudson Hawk' on TV over the weekend (I watched during commercials on 'Eureka' (Which is a great show)).

It was almost so bad it was good.
