For some reason The Man in the High Castle is trending on Prime Video (strange!) so I've been watching it. Fantastic show, but a bit depressing considering how many characters are American but fully sold into the Nazi way of life...
It gets a little on the murky end with the nazi plotline by the final season, but the Japanese side of it stays strong throughout and Joel De La Fuente’s Inspector Kido is the best character arc by a country mile, and he should have won awards for that performance…its exquisite.
Yes I'm over halfway through S2 and while Rufus Sewell is brilliant as Smith, the Japanese trade minister and Kido are probably the two best characters.
Not entirely sure what is going on (alternate universes? How does the titular Man know about them? Who is making the videos?) but I'm here for the ride.
Something else that is making me smile is that they are frequently doing a Heil Hitler to each other, which they absolutely would, but I can't help but keep thinking of JoJo Rabbit and the scene with Stephen Merchant:

You know, I read that when I had a KU subscription for a sorry while and nothing was really tickling my fancy at the time, so I'd probably be willing to give it another go.
I'm glad you're enjoying it. -

Thanks man!
-I have good shoes. I tried for a bit with cheap shoes and it was not good.
-I'm not so good at this as I never make the time for it at home. I'm aware of some good strength training for runners videos (especially for the knees!) but I just don't do it haha
-Never heard of the Galloway Walk I'll look into it.
-Another thing I'm not great at is stretching as I get bored by it quickly...
