    Nah he was more interested in purging any left wing element of the party than actually focusing on what makes Labour, well, Labour. He did it in the name of "rooting anti-Semitism from the party" which was a long running thing they continuously hurled at Jeremy Corbyn, who was a true old school Labour lefty. I never saw any actual anti-Semitic stuff, just a lot of people repeating the accusations ad nauseum.

    I suspect a certain genocidal country of which many Labour members are part of a lucrative "friends of" society had a lot to do with said accusations.

    So indeed he has got a few admirable things done but none of them will mean much when you look at some of the ridiculous, rights-stripping things he put in place.

    The problem is he has done some good stuff but it is very much overshadowed by many of the other things. Mainly the pandering to the right wing and anything related to Israel/Palestine (the jailing of the Filton 4 is an absolute miscarriage is of justice and the proscribing of Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation leading to the arrests of 100s of peaceful OAPs to and the like is a stain on our country). So he's definitely not the worst but he definitely spent far too much time focusing on completely the wrong things.
