So some Western countries are finally beginning to call Israel out on their actions. They've been called anti-Semitic of course, and it's very much too little too late, but it's better than nothing? The more international pressure on Israel, the more likely they might start to do things like, I dunno, allow children to receive food, water and medical supplies...

Steven Erikson's Deadhouse Gates is 1.49$ on Kindle.

Heard good things about this guy.

I keep reading that the first book is really hard to get in to. can start w this one?

I think it's one of those series where you have to start with the last book for it to truly make sense.

    I finished Slow Horses

I think on consideration my favourite character was Standish. My least favourite was Marcus because he was a bell end and the architect of his own downfall!

Shirley. Dander. Best character by a country mile for me.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's SOOOOOO good.

I mean yeah, she's ace. Not top for me but definitely up there. Honestly I really love Taverner in a "man she is ruthless and awful but she is so entrancing to watch!" Kristin Scott Thomas owns every scene she's in!

I finished Slow Horses and WOW that was a phenomenal show. May have to keep Apple TV until the summer when season 5 is due to come out. I'm planning on watching Severance next but I'm worried I won't enjoy it because it's not Slow Horses!

Gary Oldman was brilliant, of course, but just about everyone was superb (Hugo Weaving??!)

Bugger, did I miss your birthday this year? Apologies, hope it was good. In a "Hot Fuzz jumping through the air sideways firing two pistols" kind of way. Followed by sweet rumpty.

Your post in the Good Looking Thread just reminded me of something I think pretty much every time I read of one your posts: Tiste, you are such a nice, sincere and all over great person, from what I can tell, that your existence proves there IS good in the world.
Yes, that was totally random, but deal with it, it had to be said :D
