    So in a scene Gruntle and the Bole brothers find Glanno Tarp lying in a corral. Then Gruntle finds Cartographer and the undead tells him "It's the jam-smeared bread thing, isn't it?"

    What does this jam-smeared bread statement mean? I'm guessing it's a figure of speech but I'm not sure. Does anyone know?

    Hey guys. There's a sentence on page 72.

    "Most of the eels pulled aboard were snags."

    What does "snag" mean here?
