About Me
I am a 20 year old Urban & Environmental Planning Student from Queensland, Australia. I enjoy a wide range of physical activities including Aussie Rules and see reading as my release from the stresses of both sport and general day-to-day life.
Reading is very much a cherished hobby which I developed from a young age. I have always been drawn to the world and imagination of fantasy stories and lore, which began with Deltora Quest and the Inheritance Series growing up. I progressed and truly fell in love with the fantasy genre thanks to J.R.R Tolkien himself, where I soaked up everything I could regarding Middle Earth. I have dabbled in a few series since and rate The Kingkiller Chronicles as one of the best reading experiences of my short life (currently desperately awaiting the final installment). Trying to fill the void left by Mr Rothfuss, I unknowingly picked up Gardens of the Moon at the local library for its apparent epic high fantasy potential. Everything that followed has been such a journey and I relish the opportunity to take in all that is the MBOTF universe. Joining a community such as this is something I have never experienced and I am eager to learn and potentially help others on our adventures.
