    I just finished the spear cuts through water, on forum reco, and it was excellent. Quite an intense read in places but clever and engaging on many levels. Well worth the money and eyeball time.

    Have added his other book on the wishlist which sounds good too.

    For a change in pace, reading Xenos in the Eishenhorn omnibus.

    The Eyre affair and related books are gems. It's written in that different take on tensions partly as its explicitly an alternate reality.
