I have always loved fantasy and other literature and I have read widely since I was little but for me nothing can match The Malazan Book of the Fallen in the field of fantasy.
Erikson has produced such an exquisite blend of pure imagination, philosophy, politics, emotion, grit and so much more, and yet has managed to produce a world that is in many ways so real.
