But wasnt Andarist pure blood? The impurity of Rake is only to do with him having a pint of Tiam-juice. The thing about Osric is he is mentioned as being an Elder God... And Anomander is the Firstborn of MD, apparantly, as well as the highest permanantly occupied member of High House Dark, that weve seen... I wonder did Trull ever have a chance of remaining alive? It seems to me that his promotion to Shadow was a guarantee of death... Shadow is weak, sundered, often under attack, according to NoK, and Trull was just a skilled fallen Edur... So I wonder, is the position of Knight left for someone yet to arise, and Trull was simply preventing anyone random getting it? Brys is supposedly the Saviour of the Empty Hold, which has been speculated to be human Shadow, so maybe he was supposed to be the Knight, and Trull was there to prevent the position being taken prior to his rebirth?
