Good. For once, I've had to wait for the novels to be released and it must be BIG. 1000 pages at least. Hmm, might just buy the paperback to get 1k+ pages.... :(

I NEED more MBotF, aka PROLOGUE NOW

I see now how you all got into the whole BRAINZZZZZZZ! thing. I got into the books about the time TBH came out so I have only experienced this one before with Erikson, but its much more intense with him than any other series I've read.

edit: also broke out a new avatar, not quite as sexy as my last one but i like it.

I'm a new poster, but I'm thinking of starting a post for those of us who have read all the book that have been released thus far, and asking which book is the favorite and why? I still think that Memories of Ice is my favorite, but I have several reasons why RG might end up surpassing it...what do you guys thing? You are all professionals on this board. Should I start that thread?

@ Kalam Mekhar - Search is your friend. There are many such polls out there... here's one:

http://malazanworld....read.php?t=7722

And yes, MOI is the clear favorite thus far.

I think it's fair to say that MoI/DG jhave special places in my heart, the others are good books but I get all teary eyed and nostalgic about those two!

Those two were the most complete books, but for some reason DHG only made an impression on me with a couple of things.

I like the rest of the series a lot although HoC will be a difficult re-read as I've gone sour off Karsa since RG and the main bulk of the story otherwise wasn't top-draw stuff. I think GotM, MT, BH and RG have all have incredible moments within.

I was wondering... when the TtH Prologue gets posted (and thanks Hetan for that update telling us it would be soon ), will it go into a new "Toll the Hounds" board? It should - because I can imagine folks that don't want to read the prologue until the book comes out (as opposed to those of us who can't wait). That would also be a good time to move all the post TtH/ RoTCG prologue discussion to the new TtG board.

Being horrendously new I'm not sure whats happened with past releases but that seems a pretty good idea, its probably the best time to get started on things in a seperate forum

I think a new board should be made, given there will be plenty of things in the prologue for us to obsess over and make diabolical threads about.

You people need to relax. Every time a new book starts someone feels the need to bring this topic up. We'll create a new board as we have always done:)

You cant blame us for being slavering nerds hungering for any MBotF news, Jenny. That's why we all joined in the first place! :)

I've started re-reading the entire series (on DHG atm) to try and coincide finishing them with the release of tthe new books, so Im perfectly up to scratch this time. It's destroying my attempt to get a good degree, but it's worth it, dammit!

Cant wait til either of the prologues, I may just collapse and die of an aneurism.

Im hoping Icarium re-appears in this one, as I still pine for him so.

Found a nice nugget of potential TtH info in my Bonehunters reread - around page 400, UK mmpb, Paran meets up with Karpolan Demesand and the Trygalle Trade Guild, right... they come up to the shattered Trygalle wagon which Paran figures out was mauled by the two Hounds of Shadow he freed from Dragnipur...

So that dead troupe that tried to precede Paran on the Bridge of Death were commissioned by some relative of Turban Orr's to bring back beasties from olden times.

What for, eh? And would this have anything to do with 'love and death' dancing in Darujhistan from the Amazon blurb. Aah, the speculation.

Well, they are a trade guild who takes on missions upon the grounds of a binding, formal agreement... so probably not. :)

Who knows, they may have wanted the D-Goth released so they could destroy Raest.
