"Death observing Death," Hedge muttered "How damned appropriate. He collected the bodies, then sat down and just died with them. Gave up. No thoughts of vengeance, no dreams of resurrection. Here's your dread enemy, Emroth
"More than you realize," the T'lan Imass replied
*Begin crazy theory*
I believe that Hood is actually the Jaghut god. I believe that he was an ascendent, most likely a tyrant, and that he grew with worshipers till he became the god of the Jaghut. He sat upon the throne of ice and was god over their realm. But the war with the T'lan Imass begun, he began to lose followers, his race was approaching extinction, so he sought escape. He was an ascendent without a people and he found an avenue of escape within K'ruls blood. The new-born Warrens needed keepers and rulers. He lef this Hold of Ice and ventured into the Warren of Death as his spirit.

And it rides the wind.
Every wind.
*A little supporting evidence*
-Why is the Leterii Hold of Ice aspected to death? Why does the king of death reside within the Hold of Ice? Wouldn't it be more appropriate for it to be a Hold of Death/Shadow/Darkness/Void etc..
-The Herald of the House of Chains (can't quite remember his name right now) was a Jaghut, and before serving the Crippled God, he was Herald for Hood. Perhaps Hood felt sentiment for his old race and offered selter to this lone Jaghut?
-What Emroth said to Hedge... The true enemy of the T'lan Imass would be this God, the ruling power of the Jaghuts, the brain behind the war.
*End Crazy Theory*
ok, so I was reading RG again and happened upon pages 402-406 and for some reason that mind made me think that Hood and the Jaghut body on the throne were the same. Not sure how well this theory will stand up, just thought i would throw it out there and see how you guys change/tear down/modify it.
oh yeah....first post!
