I've missed all of the fights the past few months. The wfe has gotten tired of fighting and doesn't feel like watching it any more.

so, who thinks UFC or one of the other bigger groups should/will sign Pudzianowski?

granted, he's only had one fight, but hey, he won it.

and i'd be interested to see him against serious opposition.
meh. Link was dead :(

He's terrible right now. Strong as heck, but there is zero technique to anything he does.

He'll be fighting cans for the next two years before sniffing a big-time organization - unless (duh duh duhhhh) HE GOES TO JAPAN!

Im looking forward to seeing Demian Maia vs Dan Miller and Nate Marquardt vs Chael Sonnen... probably the most exciting fights on UFC 109, for me... the main event is kind of blah, i expect Couture to run through Coleman, but you never know it is MMA,

Im a Maia fan, and nate is always fun to watch... i want to see how maia comes back after his KO loss to nate, and like to see nate continue his win streak...

i imagine Nate and Demian will win those fights..

Coleman has manacle like grips for hands. Couture can win the decision, but I doubt he's going to KO Coleman if Shogun could barely do it.

Good picks on the fights to watch for Zanth.

Don't forget the UFC on Versus coming up. It's got an absolutely insane card right now.

Unless coleman has improved his gas tank though, i dont see him giving Couture to much, but he knows who he is fighting, and is training for it... it could be an awesome fight, i just see them as two diff caliber fighters now... couture is ageless and coleman... not so much

but it is MMA, anything can happen in a fight, coleman could still win

Did any of you guys watch the Strikeforce card?

I had a quick look at the results, admittedly out of curiousity to see how Herschel Walker got on.

And went to youtube to get a glimpse of the finish from one of the undercard fights. Talk about an out of the blue KO.

I won't mention any of the results in case people have yet to watch things.

I wish i could get to watch this stuff live.

Caught a few of the fights today. The Walker shuffle is hilarious and his opponent was really, really bad. However, he did well and he's a good ambassador for the sport. I wish him well.

That fight was designed for a ridiculous KO. I picked Manhoef, because he does have the better stand-up. However, Lawler essentially threw one punch the entire match and it happened to be that Hail Mary punch. If he had missed it or if Manhoef hadn't gone down, Lawler would have been done. Fun fight.

Watch the women's fight. Cristiane Cyborg is a lot like a feminine Wanderlei Silva. She's really been working hard and I like her overall game. Wish she would throw a few uppercuts, particularly to the body, to mix it up. Coenens can take a punch for sure.

And the Diaz-Zaromiski fight is a beauty. If nothing else, catch that one.

Watched it last night, not too shabby.

Sims looked like he hasn't trained since TUF. A nice gimme to Lashley from SF, who would have thought?

Lawlers KO was freaking awesome! Those leg kicks by Manhoef were rediculous, Lawler was limping hard after.

Herschel didn't look too bad for a 47 year olds first fight...... Seems to have a good basic skill set.

Cyborg kicked ass as I knew she would.

I don't know how Diaz manages to land so many god damn strikes...... It's rediculous. good win for him.

I watched the fight online, it wouldnt stream right so I had to wait for the entire thing to be over, and then the main event was spoiled cuz i saw the headline on the showtime website... cue rage pic

Diaz is on a bad ass streak, Im glad for him, he is a good fighter, I dont like his attitude most of the time, but he is always fun to watch.

Walker looked decent, do we have a new oldest man to win an MMA match?

Wes Sims... wow... Bobby Lashley looked decent, I like his game plan about his MMA career, one fight at a time and wanting to get 8 or so fights under his belts before he tries moving up in the division.

I was surprised in a good way, good fun. Really like Diaz fighting style. And it hurts just looking at Cyborg, she's brutal. Manhoef let his hands down, and Lawler could very well have been looking for that as he said post-fight. He was in a bad way at that point though.

My picks for UFC 109 main card

Serra vs Trigg- Might be a close fight but I gotta go Serra by UD unless Trigg LnP him

Maia vs miller- Millers a pretty tough and crafty guy, but I don't see him avoiding the submission the whole fight. Maia via sub, round 2

Swick vs Thiago- Swick's good, but Thiago really impressed me against Fitch. It's close, but I'll take Paulo by decision

Marquardt vs Sonnen- Can't wait till Marquardt smashes this moron.........

Couture vs Coleman- Damn, it's finally happening.......If it goes to decision it will probably be Randy winning, but it there is a stoppage it will probably be by Coleman. I just hope for a good showing by both these legends

It was a brilliant display by Sonnen and aided by Marquardt looking alternately listless or fixated with his KO power.

I'm so on board with that. Bisping looked good against Kang because... Kang is Kang.

I'll put my picks up below:

MAIN CARD
Velasquez, decision
Silva, KO Round 2
Stevenson, KO Round 2
Bader, decision
Cro Cop by murder over Perosh

PRELIMINARY CARD
Soszynski, decision
Foster, decision
Te Huna, KO Round 1
Dollaway, decision

No shit. I almost didn't even go watch the fights tonight, so glad I decided to. Every fight was great. Some interesting fights on the horizon based off of tonight.

In case anybody forgot or didn't know, UFC on versus is tonight in 3 hours from now. On versus in US and on I think rogers sportsnet in Canada. Four awesome free fights. Don't miss it.
