I have a signed copy of Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Mercy and a full set of her latest trilogy (Kushiel's Scion, Kushiel's Justice, and Kushiel's Mercy) up for grabs on the blog! ;)

Add to that three "finished copies" of Scott Bakker's Neuropath, three copies of Melinda Snodgrass' The Edge of Reason (GRRM-recommended), and two copies of Jeff Somers' The Digital Plague. Not bad, eh!?!

Check the blog for all the details!

I want to know how the hell you get all these books for contests.

Do you have prostitutes at your service that you send out to authors? Or are you some sort of drug dealer to them all holding their fix ransom for books?
Maybe you've got their families in your basement with big brutish thugs from Longueil threatning to beat them?
Or perhaps you're some sort of extortionist with embarrasing if not criminal evidence on them all and you hold them with it?

Which is it Pat? Which is it!

I would think its obvious by now.

Pat is in fact the real author of every fantasy book ever.... he just uses clever pen names to hide his secret identity....

Pat is also Superman and Batman... I know, Wierd but true.

You see that's what he wants you to think, that he's some innocent trickster and not some evil heartless demon out to make people suffer (this said in the best and most loving way).

Hey guys!

With Richard Morgan's The Steel Remains being one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of 2008 in the fantasy genre, I'm pleased to announce that I have one ARC up for grabs on the blog, compliments of the folks at Gollancz. One lucky bastard will thus get it before everyone else, what with the novel being published in August in the UK and Canada, and February 24th 2009 in the USA! :D

While you're at it, you can also register to win copies of Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Mercy as well as a full set of her lates trilogy (Kushiel's Scion, Kushiel's Justice, and Kushiel's Mercy), David Louis Edelman's Infoquake, Troy Denning's Star Wars: Legacy of the Force: Invincible, and Ekaterina Sedia's The Secret History of Moscow.

Best of luck to you all! :p

Hey Zanth, just give em' the mailing address of some friend or family at home, and that way you might have a nice book to read when you get back?

Since you are actually from North America normally I don't see why you can't tweak the rules a bit?

I'm in New Zealand so i havent a hope of entering.

Why Thank You, Thank You. Glad to be of help. And I wouldn't say dumb. Just say "distracted". That way you can be all mysterious and stuff and make up all kinds of stories as to why you didn't think of it straight away. Brilliant.

Oh, that's tempting. But considering I won the last Black Company giveaway, I'll give others a chance this time round ;)
