With money so tight I'm having to borrow random books from the library, they don't even usually have the book I want in...that's how depressing this is.
I'll have to wait.

Just had word from Transworld in the UK, they will publish " Return" on 11 August 2008.
Depending on when precisely PS Publishing decides to release their special edition, some might like to get the $150 SE after all.

Hope the PS edition will be much sooner than the official release... don't want to wait any longer than I have to!

I got some information about the PS special edition as well.
It's due to be released in March. It's 266,000 words, anyone have any idea how long that is?
The covers will be done by the superb Edward Miller. Cover and synopsis should be up by Christmas.

well, To Green Angel Tower is allegedly about 520,000 words...so I'd think ROTCG is about half that size? Roughly 550 pages in HC, if Amazon's HC pagecount is accurate for To Green Angel Tower.

Lucky you, I'll just try to think of other things whilst you lot read the book...like murder and flying.
Especially if Dancer and Kellanved are in it.

Can that cpunt be translated into pages? Sounds like less than RG....

RG = 379000 words/ 509 pages (Amazon.ca hardcover data)
Assuming similar typeset/ font/ page size etc that would make
RoTCG = 266000 words/ ~360 pages.
There ya go!

250000 words is roughly 1000 double spaced manuscript pages, dont know how that helps but there you go.

Wasn't Reaper's Gale like 900 pages? so roughly two thirds of that is around 600 or so...

When the first edition was available to order in Sept, for release early 2008, it didn't seem to be too long a wait, but now that it's not coming till April, it's rather disappointing and a long time to wait.
