Wireless, was working with Molinder and Bennet in trying to take down the company. She was also dead, with only her mind living on in a computer network...
At least that is what the Heroes comics have her doing last...

I dug the end of Volume 2, and I sure can't wai tto see where Volume 3 will take us.
I didn't HATE Maya....but her power has to be honed, and she was NOT used well in the Second volume...I think THAT was the major issue with her part so far.
I love that Elle had a little taste of being a Hero for once, and she liked it.....it gives promise to there being more of the anti-hero hero in the 3rd volume.
I wanted a LITTLE more from the Hiro vs Peter fight...but what we got was cool nonetheless.
I DO however DON'T think that HRG shot Nathan...The dude walking away was WAY too skinny. Watch that scene again my friends.

Yeah, I am pretty sure it was Sylar that shot Nathan. Would fit with mrs. Petrelli's new villain style.

Unlikely. Sure they play fast and loose with the timing, but Sylar was still crispy from Elle's zap and injecting himself AFTER Nate was shot.
You can't rely on the visual of the guy walking away, because it could be anyone and the writers can still decide to make it Bennet.
The Haitian is also a possibility.
- Abyss, never trusted that guy...

I am convinced that it was Bennett that shot Nathan - it just makes sense. He's back working for The Company to keep Claire safe. But they'll bring Nathan back, they've let the genie out of the bottle now with this healing blood and they can't stop it now.
I just want to know that when they come back (in 2009) after the writers strike, will every single plot line still move forward only if Peter or Mohinder act like morons. Because that sure was the theme of this season.

Two interesting points here...
One: it's going to be ferociously lame if the series turns into a never ending series of 'he dies! wait, we have a vial of Claire's blood!!! he's back!!!!'.
And two, i suspect Kring got the message loud and clear that viewers were not impressed with Pete and Mo (and Hiro for that matter)'s arcs this season.
Just based on the sites i scan, interestingly, it seems most everyone enjoyed Matt's plotline, including the evil daddy issues.
No one really complained about Sylar except with respect to the Wonder Twins, Clare was ok tho many hated West, Bennet was always a pleasure to watch and Nikki was.... eh, decent. ish. sort of. Nathan was mopey but watchable and i could be wrong but i think the jury's out on Monica/copycat. Didn't see much about Micah but i at least thought he was one of the more interesting from a 'powers are changing' standpoint, after Matt. It seems most viewers liked Elle.
Actually, as i look at this, the plotlines involving people learning more about their powers (or in Noah's case his 'destiny') were some of the best ones. The almost purely character driven ones were the ones people most slammed.

I also thought that the charactors who had a moral grey area were much more rounded then the characters who were just all good. By the end of the second season Hiro had started to become this way.

I just had a heroes volume two marathon. The second season was great. I didn't know that there was only supposed to be 11 episodes in season two so I got a bit mithed when it suddenly switched to volume 3.
I'll agree that the new characters were, for the most, very poorly implemented.
Also people are incredibly stupid. It's a good thing that Hiro didn't just walk over to the frozen Adam on the ledge and sawed of his head
Yes, I know Hiro is not that kind of person, but I am
I liked Adam, It'll be interesting to learn if he can survive without food and water. Logically he should be able to claw his way through the casket using his powers and then digging himself out one lungfull of dirt at the time. I expected Hiro to deposite Adam far, far back in time where he'd really be powerless to return.
I thought it was lame that fat police guy could just incapacitate his 30 year veteran telepath father like that. I was hoping the father was the real bad guy, using his powers like a mix between the shadowking and the illusionist from the Marvel Universe - It could have added a bit of horror to the series.
I was surprised that Sylar didn't just eat the twins brains back in mexico. I don't understand whether the brother actually had a power or he was just immune to the poison and somehow able to suck up the sisters pain. The sister could control it herslf so it could mean that the brother could have been able to do the same trick as her - well now we'll never know.
I thought it was stupid that the blood was able to regenerate people even after death. After that many hours with the brainchemistry decomposing there should be some kind of effect on the human mind. I't would have been cool if they mixed in some religion and the human soul in that experiment - it being a comic and all.

From a _Washington Post_ blogger, Liz Kelly, covering Comic-Con:
'Heroes' Comes Back Strong
I am OD-ing on movie panels (at this moment, Sam Raimi is telling us about his upcoming horror flick, "Drag Me to Hell"), but I have to pause for a moment to talk "Heroes."
"Heroes" was, by far, the most electric panel I have attended so far at Comic-Con; like a rock concert when the whole cast took the stage. To that point: A girl in one of the front rows was holding up a sign, directed at Milo Ventimiglia, that said, "Milo, We Camped Out 4 U All Night." And they did. Several people slept outside the doors of Hall H just to get a prime seat for the panel.
They were rewarded -- not only with the eye candy that is the "Heroes" cast, but with a screening, in its entirety, of the first episode of the third season. Now, I gave up on "Heroes" last season because the show had gotten so far off track that I couldn't tolerate it anymore. (Hiro traveling back in time? Yawn.) But that episode got me back on board. The show has regained its sense of humor, something that was sorely missed last year.
I won't give anything away (although series creator Tim Kring encouraged us to go forth and talk about it, I don't want to be a spoil-sport). But you can expect: Some intense moments between Claire and Sylar, a Petrelli finding religion and more high jinks with Hiro and Ando.
If, like me, you gave up on "Heroes" last season, you may want to reconsider and start watching again come September. The first episode, at least, doesn't disappoint.

That's good news! Looking forward to next season...

Season 2 killed lot of my enthusiasm for the show, but I'll give it a go still.
My two main gripes are the magic healing blood - not much sense of danger when that's around, and secondly they need to figure out better ways to deal with overpowered characters than amnesia.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."
I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Season 1 rocked my world. I was beyond excited for season 2 but man alive, it was not good. Here's hoping they really have recaptured the fun and magic from the first season again.

I didn't think Season two was bad... it was just not the same as the first one. It's actually been so long that I can't remember what was the matter with the second season.
Hmm, maybe I should rewatch the season soon.

So, Season 3, one ep in... any thoughts?
- Abyss, notes 'Ali Larter is hawt' barely rates as a thought...

As I said in the old forum - I thought it was infinitely superior to Season 2. They really made it action packed...unlike last season there were no storylines that dragged, and switching my brain off at the door, I was very entertained.

I liked it. It'll be interesting to see how they handle having some many plots on the go. I just hope they keep the number of primary characters at a manageable level. Introduce new characters but make 'em interesting and tie them into existing and exciting plot lines. If needs be, trim away folks from previous seasons. Not all Heroes need survive.

They've introduced a Flash clone and a group of bad guys...as long as they don't add any more, I'll be happy. They've now got the raw materials to set up some spectacular and interesting deaths over the course of the season. And they'd better, as well. I don't think they can keep the storylines moving fast enough with the number of characters around at the moment. I mean, you've got:
Spoiler
Which is a lot to cover in 45 minutes each week. I suppose it might work if they can amalgamate some of them...
