Has anyone heard of the possible connection between Heroes and Cloverfield the new JJ Abrams movie?

Check out the new trailer for the movie. At one point you get a glimpse of the monster destroying a bridge. Look at the Uluru cover of a 9th Wonders. Looks pretty similar to me.

I like how Parkman is becoming more and more powerfull by the day.. It seems he did wrest the identity of the last woman on the picture out of the petrelli woman, which was quite unethical and pretty... almost evil seeing how important it was to her keeping it.

The flying effects on West are wildly inconsistent - the bit where he grabbed Bennet or took out Elle were great, but the longer shots with Bennet and Clare just don't work as well. West is becoming somewhat less annoying

The Bob/Elle storyline, while background, is really interesting, as was the connection to Bennet/Clare's break from the company.

Sulu's 'okay let's do this' moment with Adam was equal parts lame and awesome.

Parkman is becoming a bastard. Love it.

Mohinder is losing his sh!t fast.

Two eps to go for the fall season. I hope they can nail the wrap up. If we have a finale like S1's disappointment, i suspect a lot of viewers may not return after the WGA-strike prolonged hiatus before more new eps.

Oh come on, S1's finale wasn't a disappointment! It was brilliant. I loved every part of it. If the finale is anything like S1's I'll love every part of this one too. ser'sly.

There WERE good parts to the finale - notably DL brain fncking Linderman and Nikki smacking down Michelle - but the big finish with Sylar dissappointed because...

1. Sylar, badass that he is, just stood there while Hiro ran him thru - call it awful staging/direction or just silliness, but Hiro had enough time to pose, yell, run like five meters and shove a sword thru the guy and he just stood there. I don't care what was intended, it LOOKED lame;

2. Nikki sees a bunch of people she doesn't know fighting and decides to clobber one of them, conveniently the bad guy, with a lamp post - seriously, the only person in that scene Nikki had met before was Matt and he was lying around bleeding at the time;

3. Peter does nothing but stand there, see Sylar, freak out and then go kablooie. And the Nathan flies off with him thing was so telegraphed episodes before that there was nothing surprising about it. I think Nate was even wearing the same suit.

After everything we'd already seen from Sylar, Peter and Nikki/Jessica at various points earlier in the series, i expected more.

what really anoyed me with the ending was how Nathan heard what Claire said and answered her sentence even though he was still far up in the air, approaching them at high speed.

Seriously, this season is really starting to be sucky. At least one of the twins is dead. No if we could just kill half of the rest of the cast. That shit in New Orleans is really irritating. Nice to see that Adam is still a bad guy. Here is a quick question: If Adam was suppose to be behind bars, then how did he manage to kill Hiro's dad.
Why doesn't Peter just read Adams mind, and find that he is a big sucker..

I'm beginning to be really bothered by the sappiness infusing every plot tread in this show. Peter is whining about Irish girl, Claire thinks her feelings matter, Maya..., the electronics kid. I actually just want some explosions and superpower fights.

Matt - His power is starting to be cool, and he isn't a whinny bitch anymore.

Sylar - You have to have a bad ass mof to balance out all of the whinny bitches

Adam - He has started to become a hard core bad ass, plus can't die, unless Hiro gets to cut off his head.

Peter - He would be fine if he would just stop whinning about some shit or other. Hiro should cut off his head.

Nathan - Not very annoying this season. Plus he seems to have a grey morality.

Elle - Hot lighting bad ass.

Hiro - Now that he left Japan he isn't so bad.

Everyone else can be killed, that includes the whinny yet hot Cheerleader.
