New albums by Clutch and Satan released today. Clutch's Book of Bad Decisions is OK. I really like a couple of tracks, but I think as a whole album it falls behind Psychic Warfare, Earth Rocker, Blast Tyrant, Beale Street, and maybe Strange Cousins.

Satan's Cruel Magic is a fun bit of NWOBHM.
“The others followed, and found themselves in a small, stuffy basement, which would have been damp, smelly, close, and dark, were it not, in fact, well-lit, which prevented it from being dark.”

I gave up on the Pumpkins years ago when Billy Corgan proved what a crazy and pretentious prick he was...but this new song is pretty darned good.

So this song randomly popped into my head today. It has been ages since I listened to SOAD and they used to be my favourite band. This song is from their utterly bonkers & rage filled self titled first album. I'm sure TRB used to love them, as well as Maark (before they became more popular with Toxicity of course).

We all Scream

All aboard the nostalgia train!

I never used to listen to them much on CD, but they were a staple of Sheffield's Saturday night rock club night - many a good dance has been had to a fair few of their songs! <_<

I still remember the first time i heard Sugar. Such a good song.

I never liked their newer stuff as much as much as that first album.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Yes! Though I loved Toxicity and Steal This Album, the self titled was flipping immense. The song about genocide, P.L.U.C.K. was phenomenal!

Hypnotize + Memorize have a good EP's worth of songs between them though! But letting Daron play frontman so much was uhhhhhhh not the best move. Serj's lyrics were always, let's say spotty, but yikes. That "most loneliest day of my life" song was awful enough to be a career ender for anyone. If Michael Jackson had released that song, it would be a strong contender for the thing that most tarnished his reputation.

Yeah there were good moments but they weren't good albums.

One of my favourite bands. Shame a new album never materialised. Although indeed the last two albums were a bit meh, bar a few cracking songs.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

You have to use the long version of the URL and then the Insert Media button.

New Plainride album dropped today. Just full of nice fuzzy riffs.

I actually referenced this song in my D&D campaign. There's a possible encounter with Myconids where a failed con save leaves the player stoned as fuck and sitting around with mushroom people.
