I'm by no means a musicoligist, but it sounds a lot like Modern English. Kind of that New Wave/Post punk genre.

I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Thanks guys. You hit the mark I think. That synth driven 80s post punk and probably a couple years right after new wave hit. Interesting a band would visit the genre now (or around now). I was digging on it though, it struck a certain sentimentality in me.

Seeing The Sword in May.

I dig the new album, but prefer their older stuff.

Can't wait, this whole album comes out Friday! I love this song, I feel like Lauren gets drowned out a bit in her part, but it's damned catchy nonetheless.

Guys. You all know me by now. And you know that pop music/Billboard top 100 hits is not my thing. But guys, sometimes there's a song that you hear when switching stations on the radio while driving into work that grabs your ear and demands you listen to it. I think the cools kids call these type of songs "earworms". Anyway guys, this song has done that for me. Don't judge me guys, just listen and let me know if you like it too. If you dislike it, that's fine, just make a respectful, eloquent argument why it's not your cup of tea. We can all then just go separate ways and talk about something else, kay? Oh and as always, first thing I always want for you guys is to have fun and smile, kay?

I like the chorus but don't really like the rest (largely because of her vocal choices in the verses and pre-chorus). So there you have it!

Okay guys. Seems as Disturbed started something with their version of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence." I dunno guys, when these trends get over-saturated, they can peter out real quick like. What do you guys think? Awesome new music trend, or just another overly dramatic, syrupy cover of an original song?

Are any of these bands on anyone's radar who doesn't have truck nuts on their pickup? You'd have to join the specific frat that Puddle of Mudd's drummer's son joined, and then go with him to a muddy field three miles outside his hometown where teenagers get drunk and ride ATVs into each other while some 30 year old paint huffer blasts the town's second most popular alt rock radio station, just to hear any of this garbage.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Which is to say, I curse you for bringing these to my attention.

Wow, that was a deep dive. Noice!

Been jumping around the radio dial on the way to work, the rock stations have been playing the first two in pretty regular rotation.

I believe Five Finger Death Punch is popular with current and former military. Not for sure though.

Yah I'm just joking. I'm definitely putting all these songs on my Just Got Dishonorably Discharged, Time To Get A Misspelled Neck Tattoo playlist.

Here's another one in the same vein (also in heavy rotation on rock radio here). Not a cover, but definitely like the other "bro rock" that I posted.

I think it's trying to say something about the opoid crises and being stuck in a rut, sitting around all day, zoned out on pain meds. That would suck to live like that. Really sad. I'd rather track down the drummer's son for Puddle of Mudd, go three miles outside of town to a muddy field where teenagers get drunk and ride ATVs into each other while some 30 year old paint huffer blasts the town's second most popular rock radio station, tbh. Some spacey tunes for when you've been outside, getting kissed by the sun on a 90+ degree mid June day, and you hit that weird zoned out state in your brain from too much of it. It'll make that space cadet glow last a little longer when you've found the cool shade of your man cave.

I am not a huge fan of this group - the whole "hurr durr satan!2 thing is well overplayed in metal and it's not that clever.

However, this song is so freaking catchy!!
