I love Pro Era stuff, and I think this might be one of the most powerful tracks in the Hip-Hop collectives entire back catalog. R.I.P. Capital STEEZ.

Yes but which one?!?

Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

Oh my gods...I can't talk...Veruca Salt back with original lineup (AKA Louise and Nina put their differences aside) and released a new song.

THIS IS THE BEST EVER NEWS

Wow, coming right after the Letters to Cleo performance on Parks & Rec, it's like the girly alt-rock gods have finally escaped their chains. Also I saw an honest to God ad for a Moonpools & Caterpillars concert recently.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I know you like it and all but... meh. I really couldn't find anything interesting and unique in this. Fairly generic female fronted rock band to my ears. They had nice voices but I'm not sure why they are getting all the adulation...

I think it's mostly on the fact that Nina and Louise harmonize together quite well...and it's the reason why after Nina left the band kind of spiraled for 19 years with just Louise fronting it. The band works best as a harmony, which is why the new tracks work too.

But I mean yeah, a lot of this would have to do with my nostalgia...but honestly these tracks would not be out of place on CD's released in 1995...which is a part of what I like about it.

The quintessential female fronted alt-rock band (forget Hole or Elastica, or Liz Phair...)

Other new track (which I like equally)

and my fave all time song (like ever):

The video for PROMISE by Tori Amos, which is a duet with her daughter Tash...and beyond being a lovely song, the video is a really simple conversation between the two.

Double shot!

Beautiful. If this doesn't move you, then I feel very sorry for you.

Seriously on a massive love-fest with this song at the moment! The album is also incredible, and all of it is dark, brooding and atmospheric (just like I imagine Iceland to be - the band is from there.)
