was reading the music review section of the sunday paper this morning and saw a mention that the musician Nick Talbot (who performed as GRAVENHURST) passed away in December aged only 37. He wrote some beautiful songs.

This show has everything. Something that resembles a story. Heavy music. Soft music. Girls doing the upside down crab walk and much more. Enjoy.....

You can take the piss all you like, truth is, you don't get any tighter than this for a live band.
Mad skillz for sure.

@ Maark

I like it, though I have to say my preference lies more with the scandinavian (melo)death. Not that I dislike anything that's not from there or everything that is, it's just an observation when looking at the things I like.

So, what you're saying is that you're the sledgehammer messiah? Waiting for sins to be born?

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

So apparently Bjork's new album is being made with the help/input/collaboration with The Haxan Cloak...which is a match made in gorgeous and insane heaven. Can't wait!

I don't even care, I love the energy of this song even if it doesn't make any sense.

Man, druggy hip-hop is such a weird mixed bag. Really interesting avant-garde beats, crazy flows (that are admittedly hit and miss, but often under-the-radar catchy, even with some unintelligible drawls), and minimalist lyrics that are alternately genius and bonehead stupid (pretty sure I don't need to hear how much OT Genasis loves coco again for a long while). It's like Alice In Wonderland's caterpillar w/ codeine instead of opium.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Honestly I just eat this stuff up, I think it's a mix of generally interesting beats and just the complete nonsensical lyrics. I swear some of these guys just go into the booth and do stream-of-consciousness one takes. It's amazing.

I don't know, I don't think I've ever listened to them (Soilwork, had to look it up :) ). Listening to Amon Amarth gives enough information about Thor and his hammer
