I am liking Dresden a lot so far, although I also was not impressed with what I saw of the tv show. For whoever could not find white night, I was just at a USA Barnes and Noble yesterday and they had special displays set up all over for Dresden, and about a thousand copies of White Night on the shelves. I had to hunt around the displays to find a copy of Fool Moon.

hah. just bought my copy today.
The title on the front of the book:
"Small Favour"
correct spelling.
Clearly my subtle plan to take over the world is already having effect.
Don't worry USA, i'll soon have you spelling correctly......

well, finished it.
pretty damn entertaingas always.
though - SPOILER ALERT, DO NOT LOOK IF YOU HAVEN'T READ SMALL FAVOUR YET, IT'LL ONLY ANNOY YOU.
YES, I'M LOOKING AT YOU ABYSS.
By the way, seen as these books always happen around about Halloween time, are the other characters goinig to start aging much soon. I mean, that's ten years already. Carrying on at this rate, the series is going to last 20 years

So now amazon.ca is telling me it will arrive the first week of May along with Abercombie's LAST ARGUMENT. Meanwhile, i keep spotting it in book stores, albeit at a higher price than my amazon pre-order.
Of course, my karma being what it is, i will likely have to travel to British Columbia to recover it once it's 'delivered'.
- Abyss, notes, for those of you not from Canada, that British Columbia is the opposite side of the continent from me...

I was going to wait for this to come out in MMPB (since the downside of the UK catching up is that it comes out in HB first now, which seems a bit pointless to me) but I think when I have money I'm going to give in to the temptation.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

went to chapters to pick up my ordered copy of "death masks" today... took them only 4 days
and I already have "blood rites" waiting at home
I'm working my way through, albeit slowly...
you may now resume you spoilerful discussion that I am not reading
ETA: now that I'm done all the books that have a nice "Volume X" of the Dresden files, on them, I need sequence knowledge.what is the order of the books following "Blood Rites"?

I just finished the 3rd book (Grave Peril), and at first I was like Abyss was, and I wondered halfway through fool moon if he'd switch it up, and damn does he do that in spades! He upped the ante as far as I am concerned in the 3rd book. Michael is awesome, and some of the stuff that he says is brilliant! I also like the introduction of Leanansidhe as Harry's nasty faerie godmother. She adds an interesting dynamic. That first bit in this one racing sunset down to get to the hospital had my heart racing it was so tense. Awesome stuff.
At any rate, I have just begun Summer Knight, and will most definitely keep reading this series. It's A LOT of fun!

Yup, thats the one.
Ok Kud, I guess that makes sense, I was just confused because I figured there was an assassin guild that wore masks when they killed or something cool like that.
